After seeing Scott at the café, I decided to push them together. It worked, or so I hope.

I returned to the table where they sat calmly, as if they were amount friends. I sat down, but in no time, Nash remembered that we need to pick up his sister. We raced off the the truck leaving Scott in silence.

"What were you guys really talking about?" I asked Nash, as he drove. "We told you, guys night." he said. "Well even, though guys night is real. I know that's not what you were talking about," I said staring out the window, "but if you don't want to tell me I'll let it be your secret." I finally heard him exhale. "You're going to kill me about this, but I'll tell you." he said. "He said I could punch him the face." "Punch Scott in the face?" I asked. "Yup."

"What for?"

"For your hapiness." he said. "No way!" I gasped. "He really cares about you." Nash said. "Wow!" I was shocked, he still cared.

We pulled into the airport parking structure, "Now, Braxton isn't your typical older sister, she blunt, loud and doesn't give a shit." Nash said parking the truck. "So, she's like you, just a girl." I said getting out. "I can tell you one thing, you'll love her." he said, walking along side of me.

We went to the baggage pick-up and waited for Braxton. "Well, looks like my baby brother can be on time for something." A nice brown haired and green eyed girl said, hugging him. "Nice to see you too, Brax." said Nash. I just sat on the side and let them reconnect. "Well, let's get moving." he said. He picked up her bags and walked out to the truck. "I really would think that you'd have a girl by now." Braxton playfully punched him in the arm. "Well, I do." he said, putting her bags in the back. "Yeah, she's great. Her name's Maverick." he told her. "Duke, really. She sounds like trouble." Braxton jumped into the front seat. "Well, at least I know what she thinks of me." I spoke up. "Jamey!" Nash whined. "It's okay." I said getting in the back of the truck. I pulled the door shut, as Nash walked around to drive.

The ride was silent and tense. As soon, as Nash parked I jumped out and headed down the street. "Maverick!" Braxton called after me. She ran up next to me.

"Maverick, come on." she said. I looked at her, "Even if I knew that you were with us, I would of said that a little nicer. But I really don't matter, he does and trust me, if he let me meet you it must really mean something to you." she said. I decided that I couldn't hate his sister for telling the truth. "I'm sorry. I haven't gotten used to this life yet." I told her. "It's no problem, besides if my brother has anything to say about it, you're perfect." she nudged me as we walked back to the house. Nash leaded against the truck, watching us. "I'm..." "No, I'm sorry." I cut him off. He smiled at me. "It's really mom you need to worry about." Braxton said.

The three of us entered the house to find everyone sprawled around the house, "Look whose back!" Carr said sleepily. "Hola, mis amigos." Fonz rolled over on the floor.

"Who's the vision?" he asked. "Braxton." I responded. "Dinner!" Nash's mom shouted. "You might want to get out of the way." I warned Braxton. She took a step back, as everyone raced to the dining room.

The three of us entered and sat down to eat. "Guys, this is Nash's sister, Braxton. Be nice!" I said to them. "Scott." "Jasper." "Hayley." "Carson." "Marcy." "Grayson." "Ethan." they introduced themselves. "Nice to meet all of you." Brax said. We all ate together, in harmony and laughed together.

After dinner, all the boys went out. I was actually happy that Nash and Scott had gotten along, because at least now I didn't have to worry about who would be biting off whose head. Me and the girls talked and laughed in the guest house and watched movies.

I never thought that after leaving Alabama, and after being with Scott, that I could ever be this at peace.
