Mavy was ecstatic to find out that I had graduated high school. She would be graduating in a few weeks, but she was proud of me. I missed prom, but I'm glad she went.

The morning was brutal, Nic, Guns and Rocket man were out on break, Grayson and Carr had jobs, Jaz was with Hayley, Fonz was helping around the house and Mavy was spending her time at the library.

"What is going on?" Marcy said groggily.

"Well, you could either check the board or look stupid." Mav said rushing past her. Marcy really looks dumb. Her hair was a mess on her head, and her pajamas where weird, satin pants and shirt. Who does that?

"Morning boys!" Mav's mom said sliding bowls down the counter.

"Glad to see, our oldest son is back." she said handing me a bowl.

"Morning!" I said. "Alright, libraries closed, I'm staying here." Mav said sliding down the fireman's pole.

"Well you need to do something?" Carr said.

"Engines been making noise, I need to check it out." she said throwing some toast into the toaster.

"Mind if I help?" I asked her. She just smiled at me, her batman shirt and JLA shorts for her nicely, Maverick is so pretty.

"Can I get a coffee with two sugars, four cremes and soy milk." Marcy said stumbling down the stairs.

"What does this look like?" Fonzo asked.

"Starbucks?" Jaz added, walking out the front door.

"Well, I'll see you all later." mom said leaving behind Jaz.

"We got to go, too." Grayson said.

"See ya, Mav, Stryker, mini Mavs, Ms. de Vil." Carr pulled the door up behind him.

We all started laughing, "Who is this de Vil person?" Marcy asked, before vanishing back to her room.

"Nice one. She must've really got you out of trouble." Fonzo said. I shoved him,

"She was the closest to the real thing." Mavy just looked at me, "Yeah, nice save tough guy." she said heading to the garage. I followed her, she pulled up her hair and pulled on a big jumpsuit.

"What is going on?" she said,
"Why bring the girl, you technically cheated on me with to my house?" tears started to well in her eyes. I pulled her close to me,

"I'm sorry. She wanted to come, and I told her she would regret it." I told, my now weeping Mavy.

"I never meant to hurt you." I wiped her tears away with the pads of my thumbs. In the moment, through all the pain I caused, all the sadness, every tear that streamed down her face, made me say words I have never said to any girl I have ever been with.

"I love you!" I said in a judged voice.

Mavy looked at me awestruck, "What did you say?"

"I love you!" I said again, "I love you, Maverick J. Jameason! I love you, and I always will." I said loud enough for eveyone to hear.

She laughed at me, "You're so dramatic." she said before pressing her lips to mine, in a deep loving kiss. We slowly parted, "I love you too." she said.

We sat all day, in that garage draped in one another, talking, sitting, laughing about what had happened while we were apart. She truly was amazing, beautiful and just drop dead gorgeous, she is MY Mavy. We eventually worked a little on the car, there was a race coming up in a few weeks and I needed to be ready. We needed to be ready.
