Two years have passed since the death of the notorious and feared Klaus Mikaelson, and his twin daughters, Hope and Nicolette, are still trying to move on with their lives at the Salvatore Boarding School. But their lonely lives are going to get com...
Nicole: *laying in bed, waiting for her dad to come. She soon hears a knock on her door* Come in.
Klaus: *slowly opens the door, stepping inside the room* May I come in, Nicolette?
Nicole: *nods* Yes, Daddy.
Klaus: *walks over to her bed and sits down on the edge of it, looking at her* I just spoke with your aunt. She told me what you said. Sweetheart, this is all my fault. Yesterday, after you and your sister almost killed each other, I had to think of a way, any way, to move your rage away from Hope. I thought the best way was focusing it onto someone else that hurt you. But I never stopped to think about the consequences, and what it would do to you. I'm so sorry, Nicolette. *tears begin to run down his cheeks* Do you think you can forgive me?
Nicole: *tears running down her cheeks* Of course I forgive you.
I got out from underneath my blanket and moved closer to hug him. I felt his arms wrap around me, making me feel safe. While we were hugging, we heard a knock on my door. We looked and saw it was Aunt Elsa, my dad's twin sister.
Elsa: How are you feeling, Little One? *asks in her beautiful British accent*
Nicole: I think I'm okay.
Elsa: *walking into her room* Good. *looks at her twin* Elijah said everything is almost ready.
Klaus: Alright. *looks back at his daughter* Sweetheart, earlier your uncle thought of a plan to help both you and your sister. I know you've just been through an ordeal, but if you're willing to try, then we must leave soon.
I stared at him, hesitant if I should go. But if my dad and uncle thought it would help, then I had to be willing to try.
Nicole: I'll get dressed. *gets out of bed, going over to her dresser to get clothes*
Elsa: Daniel said he's coming too.
Klaus: *nods and looks back at Nicole* We'll be waiting for you downstairs.
After he and Aunt Elsa left, I quickly got dressed in black ripped jeans, a flowy red tank top, and my studded ankle boots and left my room.
