Night 1 -The Salvatore Boarding School- (Hope's POV)
Josie: *running into the school with Hope* Lizzie!?
Hope: I'll check the library. *goes down the hallway*
Man, I hope we got here in time.
Alaric's Voice: *coming from behind* What are you doing here?
Hope: *gasps, jumping a little* Oh my God. *turns around, looking at him* You scared me. *eyes widen a little when she sees Daniel walking towards her with Alaric* Uncle Daniel?
Daniel: Hello, Love.
Alaric: Dorian was supposed to keep you away.
Alaric: He tried. He lost. But here. *hands him a book* Killing gargoyles 101. He thought you could translate it.
Alaric: *opens the books and sighs* Gaulish. Son of a... *trails off as he begins reading it*
Hope: So are we are on our own, or did the Gauls provide clear instruction?
Alaric: *shuts the book* In a nutshell, it says hit it hard, repeat as needed.
Hope: *eyes widen when she hears roaring coming from somewhere in the school* Is that...?
Alaric: *nods* Yeah. Listen, it poisoned Lizzie. I'm guessing, to get my attention. Then it attacked me and took the knife.
Hope: *eyes widen* The knife? The dragon knife? And you're still breathing?
Alaric: Oh, I have a theory about that.
Daniel: Well, save it. Nicole and Elsa are probably fighting off this bloody monster now.

Daniel: Your sister told me to find Alaric, while they went to find the others.
Hope: Well, we better find them and this thing now, because we had to take down that containment spell to get inside the school, meaning our monster can get out.
Alaric: *furrows his eyebrows in confusion* A containment spell? Lizzie wanted to make sure whatever attacked her didn't escape into the world. Good girl.
