I woke up not feeling great. I did my morning routine and I dressed up. I went downstairs and I spent more time with my parents. While they're still here. Blake joined us. We played some family board games. We had so much fun and we forgot they are even going for a long time. After that I went outside on a fresh air. Then I got mad while I was overthinking.
I rejected every guy who asked me out on prom, waiting for Jaden. Will he even go to prom? This will be his last prom in L.A. If he doesn't ask me until tonight, I'm going to prom with my single buddies.
Just then Vinnie, Noah, Anthony, Avani and Addison showed up.
Layla: Hey guys! What a surprise! What are you doing here?
Addison: I came over to say hi to you and hang out with Bryce later.
Layla: Oh. Did he ask you out on a prom?
Addison: Yes, actually! He was the sweetest.
Layla: Great. When?
Addison: Last week.
I nodded.
Avani: Yeah, Anthony asked me two weeks ago.
Layla: I'm so happy for you girls!
Noah: What about you Lay?
They looked at me.
Layla: I don't have a date yet.
Avani: Yet? How do you mean yet?! Prom is in two days!
Layla: I know. It's just that I rejected everyone, waiting for Jaden to ask me.
Addison: Aww! That son of a bitch!
Layla: Addison!
Addison: I'm sorry, but he is really wishing to see God today!
Avani: Girl, let's get you some water.
Avani dragged her in my house.
Layla: What is up with her?
Anthony: Probably that time of month.
Noah: Great, now I'm uncomfortable.
Anthony: Vinnie, you are so quiet lately. You haven't said a word since we got here. What is up with you?
Vinnie: I think that Addison just talked for us all.
They laughed.
Vinnie: And if you need company or someone to talk to, just call me. I'm never going anywhere.
Anthony: Stawp! You will make us cryy!
Anthony talked like a girl. I smiled. These guys really know how to cheer you up.
Layla: Thank you guys! You are the best!
We had a group hug.
Noah: Yeahh, we know.
I laughed.
Vinnie: Oh, and I'm sorry if I got you into trouble last night.
Layla: You didn't. Don't worry.
Anthony: What happened yesterday?
Layla: Well...
(Flashback)
While Vinnie and I were hugging, he whispered:
Vinnie: You wanna mess with Jaden?
Layla: You know I love that.
I whispered back. He smiled and pulled out of the hug.
Vinnie: I will see you soon, L.
He kissed my cheek. They left. I turned around and Jaden looked furiously. He's really cute. Blake and Bryce ran away to Bryce's house.
