LEXI POV
All eyes were on me. I didnt know what to expect.
Was I supposed to talk first?
I dont know what to say.
Oh god this is so awkward...
"Hi Maura." I waved smiling. "You're dating uh...Alexis?" She questioned looking over at Niall. He nodded. I knew Maura wouldnt be okay with this. She knew what I got up to when Niall left. For goodness sakes, we lived on the same street. With the constent parties and police outside of my house I would feel the same. I used to be a troublemaker.
"Alexis how are you sweetheart?" She asked keeping her distant. "Im not carrying a knife Im not gonna tab you if you come to close." I said laughing. Niall gave me the "Shut the fuck up." look. I bit my lip and sent the. SORRY eyes.
"Its been awfully quiet without you here." Bob, Nialls dad said. "Really? Is that a good thing?" I asked smiling. "Yes Indeed it is." Maura answered quickly.
I could feel the tension.
"Uh well uh, I'll uh, be back later. Im gonna go visit some old friends." I said nervously seeing that Maura wanted some alone time with Niall.
NIALL POV
Once I could no longer here Lexis footsteps i turned to my mum. "MUM!" I said surpirised. "What?" he asked casually. "Was that honestly necessary?" "Look Niall i dont like you dating her. Shes trouble. And has been for year Ni." My mum said putting on the dinner. "Mum shes MY girlfriend and I LOVE her. Its not really your decision. Plus shes changed." I said grinning.
SELENA POV
"Oh and whos this beautiful girl?" Zayn's mother asked. I smiled. "Mum, Dad this is my girlfriend...Selena." I smiled nervously. I swear my hands were shaking with fright. Ugh. If they didnt like me I dont know what I would do.
"Oh hello Selena Im Zayn's mother, Trisha. " She said pulling me in for a hug...okay...so this was going well so far...
"ZAYN!" I heard various voices scream. I turned around to see a bunch of girls running down the stair, excitement and happines planted on their faces. I could see Zayns smile grow.
"Selena these are my sisters, Waliyha, Doniya and Safaa. Girls this is my girlfriend Selena." I smiled and waved.
HOLY SHIT THESE GIRL WERE ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.
"Woah youre really pretty!" Waliyha said observing me. I smiled. "Uh have you looked in the mirror recently?" I asked. She laughed. "Zayn im stealing your girlfriend!" She said pulling me out the door. I laughed.
"Where are we going?" "Shopping!" She grinned handing me a bus pass.
LEXI POV
I walked past the familiar house that I used to live in. There was no way I would go home. I dont really wanna see my family. Only my brother. I would like to sort some things out..but i dont think he would wanna see me.
As I ran down the rroad to the familiar Costa Coffee shop the bell dinged as i opened it.
I continued to stand in line thinking about what I should get.
"Hi can I uh get a capp-JAMES?" I questioned. He looked up. "Lexi?" Obviously not completely recognizing me from my new transformed natural look. "Why are you working in Costa. Gross." I said laughing. "Hey not all of us had there dads money." I laughed slightly. "You look well." he said observing me. I smiled. "Ive been trying." "What are you doing back in Mullingar?" He said as he continuedd to make coffee. "Uh just visiting Nialls parents..." I said softly. "Look I get off in 10. We will talk then?" I nodded.
~~~10 minutes later~~~
"so how have you been?" My brother asked as he fiddled with his fingers. "Im getting better. My dads death kinda got to me a the beginning but im okay." "I see youve changed on the outside what about the inside...?" I smiled. "Well I'm now dating Niall and I've thinked Ive changed." "Mum would love to see you..." James drifted off. "Look James. I dont wanna see her. Or anyone else at that. The amount of greef they have indeed caused me, I just cant go back." I whispered. As I slammed both hands on the table. He sighed heavily. "Look I'd love to stay and chat but I need to get back." I said sighing. "Look Lex I love you-" "-Well you dont fucking show it." I whispered harshly, venom in my words.
