Chapter 38 " The Prince of the Past"

Kamini went out of the mansion taking fast steps away from the gate thinking of Shivaay words to Ragini only to see a black old limo waiting in the side of the road, she swallowed recognizing it and took few steps back in the direction of the mansion only to feel a hand that grab her harshly

she screamed but then her mouth got blocked by a wrinkly hand, she looked to the face of the old man who was looking at her with disgust and her eyes tear seeing him after 13 years and she stopped struggling and closed her mouth as he pulled her to the black limo and throw her inside it then he entered and closed the door behind him and both looked at each other for a moment and Kamini wiped her tears

Kamini: after 13 years this is the way you greet me, Arjun?

Arjun took a moment then he slapped her as hard as he could and Kamini screamed in pain and shock as he held her neck and said

Arjun strictly: I am prince Singh for you commoner !!

Kamini gasped for breath as he said

Arjun: Prince Singh the father of princess Jhanvi the last daughter of Queen Padmani

and he left Kamini neck as she gasped for breath and looked at him terrified as he said

Arjun: I saw her I saw Jhanvi, my daughter she is not dead like you said (then he looked down with wide eyes) she wasn't alive too (then he nodded and said) she came to the palace screaming the girl name she didn't recognize me she didn't let me touch her, saying I am stranger (then he looked at Kamini angrily) you lied to me for 13 years !!

and he slapped Kamini again and she cried and moaned in pain and he was about to slap her again but she held his hand

Kamini: STOP, I didn't lie to you I didn't know she is alive she jumped in the sea in front of my eyes maybe she was saved, I don't know (then she looked at him with dramatic acting)what you mean she wasn't alive too what happen to her?

Arjun swallowed and tears flow over his wrinkly cheek as she tried to touch him but he flinched

Arjun: don't touch me you are the reason all this happened

Kamini: and what I have to do with it I wanted to save Jhanvi, she was living in poverty she is your daughter your princess she ran away and married our Gardener a commoner, I had to do something for my best friend

Arjun: you did this because I didn't marry you, you did this to my daughter because I refused to marry you and let you get married to that boy .I don't get it Kamini you love me,? you love Sardar the Gardener? or you just can't love anyone?

Kamini eyes widened as her tears flow and said: I love you, of course I love you, I still do and I didn't do anything to Jhanvi, god knows how much I loved her, mercy on her soul

Arjun: you called us to take Jhanvi you know the sentence to what she did is death, you knew that my father will kill her for running away and marring a Gardener and not royalty this our law to keep the royal blood alive and pure she broke it not only that, she brought to the world a daughter from his muddy blood you sentenced her to death, Kamini

Kamini in low tone: I didn't mean too I knew you will save her but I didn't know that your granddaughter Surbhi will be the one who pay the price !!

Arjun: DON'T SAY THAT THIS GIRL SHOULD NOT EXIST THE GARDEN MUD AND ROYAL BLOOD can't RUN IN THE SINGH GRANDDAUGHTER VEINS (then he swallowed as his tears flow) I did what I had to do to save my daughter from her mistake I killed the child I cut her to pieces and gave Jhanvi the bloody dress that was my daughter punishment on her sin her husband was dead and the girl is dead and she returned back to me the mistake was fixed and my father forgave her when I did that the mistake was forgotten and everything would have been fine she would have forgot about the child and have many others of royal and pure blood (then he shook his head and said) if only she didn't ran out of the palace if only she tried to forget !!
