Late that day
In the mansion
The driver parked the car in front of the mansion and looked at Shivaay and Anika who was sleeping leaning on each other heads.
The driver: sir ?
Shivaay opened his eyes in the minute Anika opened her eyes and both flinched and got far from each other and Shivaay rubbed his eyes and looked at the small wooden house as the light was turned on every where
Shivaay: I guess aunty is awake
Anika looked at the house and said : you want to come in ?
Shivaay shook his head and said : I will wait for you to come to the (welcome back) gathering
Anika nodded with a wide smile and got out of the car as Shivaay got out as well and both smiled to each other going to their own way
Anika opened the door only to find Jhanvi sitting on the floor crying as her dress covered in flour she ran to her and hugged her tight as she sobbed in her arms !!
Anika : oh god , what happened ? why are you crying ?
Jhanvi : I c... can't mmm ,make pie , I can't remember how to m...make it, Surbhi .
Anika looked at her worried and said : you made one yesterday it was very delicious
Jhanvi wiped her tears and said : I did ?
Anika nodded as Jhanvi bent her head a side and said
Jhanvi : did y..you like it ? did it make y, you happy ?
Anika nodded yes hard as Jhanvi chuckled happily and then shook her head and said
Jhanvi : but I have t.. to remember how...t.. to make pie so I can bring money and get you toys and feed you and Shivaay
Anika looked at her with a faint smile and hugged her and caressed her hair
Anika: why ?? how old I am ?
Jhanvi in low tone : five
Anika kissed her head and said : no I am big girl I will work and feed you , don't you ever worry I will take care of you and will make you proud
Jhanvi looked at her worried and said: and Shivaay ? because he is so young and Kamini don't feed him much
Anika kindly : of course I will feed you and Shivaay and every one you want (then she smiled and said ) you know how to write ?
Jhanvi shook her head hard then nodded yes hard
Anika : ok ok , we will figure it out
(and she opened her bag and got out a notebook and pen and put the pen in Jhanvi hand )
Anika : hold this
Jhanvi looked at the pen with fear as Anika put the paper under the pen and said
Anika : can you write (Surbhi) ?
Jhanvi looked at her then nodded yes hard and she started to draw circles over the paper and looked at Anika with hope as Anika closed her eyes in pain and then forced a smile
Anika: you did good try again but focus this time
Jhanvi nodded yes hard and closed her eyes hard and wrote a cross the paper
(Surbhi )
And Anika smiled widely and clapped ,.
Anika: you did very good you can write
