Arjun: no more games

Anika looked at him for a moment with wide eyes then for his surprise she smiled widely to him and nodded yes hard and his body stiffen like a piece of wood when she throw herself between his arms, and her fingers clutched on his shirt and she put her head on his chest

Anika whispered: thank you, grandpa, thank you

He felt as if his legs will not bear him but she was supporting him with such a tight hug that he didn't imagine if he fell, she won't hold him back up!!

But what have happen to him with that look of trust and those thanking words? Why he felt suddenly that he can't bear them? That they are the heaviest burden ever was put on his chest

And the answer came to him when his eyes fall on Jhanvi who was dancing with Shivaay

The same look and the same hopeful smile and trust were on Jhanvi's 13 years ago!!

When he took Anika when she was just 5 with a promise that he will save her life

Anika smiled widely and nodded from over his shoulders but then her eyes fall on Shivaay

Who stretched his hand for her from behind Jhanvi's back and she without thinking smiled widely and held his hand and he squeezed on it and then he smiled back, and with that smile she felt like the first time she saw his smile, she can do anything in this world for this smile to be always on his lips

As Jhanvi looked at his hand that was holding Anika's then she smiled to him and looked at Anika with raised eyebrow

Jhanvi: you are so bad, if you will miss him so much that you won't even let me dance with him, why you left his hand in the first place

Anika eyes widened and said: me?!!! He is the one who held my hand first then he let me ... (then she rolled her eyes) never mind you will be in his side anyway

Jhanvi patted on Shivaay's cheek who smiled shyly as She smiled widely back and pulled Anika from Arjun's arms and made her hold Shivaay's other hand and Anika smiled widely to him as he hugged her tight and swayed with her

As Jhanvi smiled faintly to Arjun who smiled faintly back to her and hugged her tight while Anika whispered to Shivaay

Anika: my mother will be very harsh mother in law, Shivu and not on you but me

Shivaay chuckled and twirled with her and while he is doing so, his eyes met Arjun's eyes and he whispered to Anika

Shivaay: how he won your trust back?

Anika: what you mean? Who?

Shivaay looked at Arjun and Anika turned and looked at him then looked back at Shivaay

Shivaay: what he said to win your trust back and make you forget what his family did to us?

Anika looked at Shivaay with faint smile then she crossed her wrists around his neck and he without thinking wrapped his arms around her back
