Chapter 26 "Mending the broken heart"

In the wooden house

Anika entered the house running and opened the wardrobe and entered it putting her hand on her mouth to block the sobs sound Shivaay didn't say wrong that was their deal from the first day she came yes , she said to him she don't want payment but he never said he agreed on this , he still giving her everything except his presence in her life yet his action caused her the worst pain she ever felt !!! she feels lost and humiliated she felt like she just became an orphan !!

Anika pressed her hand harder holding a whimper but for a moment she heard a sound of a little boy sobbing coming from deep in her mind like awaking dream as if her tears is connected to his for some reason and that memory caused her to flinch and fall out of the wardrobe and on the floor with a loud thud and Jhanvi ran to her !!!

Jhanvi : SURBHI MY BABY

And she held her firmly from her shoulders raising her off the floor and taking her in her arms and in this minute Anika felt like a child in her mother arms and she sobbed in Jhanvi arms as Jhanvi cried for her

Jhanvi : Surbhi , why you cry ? I wrote everything I remember like you said ,what I did wrong ???

Anika shook her head in Jhanvi hug as Jhanvi added

Jhanvi : I will be a better mother I promise what I did wrong to make you cry ? I don't know I am so bad

Anika shook her head and deepen herself in Jhanvi hug and said

Anika as she sobbed : no , no its not you you are the best thing that happen to me (then she said in low tone ) just hug me I want to feel loved , please please , I am in so much pain

Jhanvi hugged her tighter and pressed her lips on Anika head as Anika clutched on her and sobbed loudly not trying to prevent the sound anymore !!
Anika : everyone I love leave me they never look back Soumya , my family and (then she sobbed harder and said) Shivaay he hates me , Ma'am how I can love him so much and he hates me like that

Jhanvi shook her head hard as Anika came out of her hug and wiped her tears and said angrily

Anika : no , I won't let anyone do this to me again (then she wiped her tears harder and smiled ) I am strong person and people around me always leave sisters leave kind people adopt the most beautiful child among us and leave so why Shivaay will be different than those people in my life?(then she nodded and said) I will work day and night and I will save for a nice home away from here and I will take you with me , ok ?

Jhanvi didn't answer and hugged her as Anika added strictly with wide eyes

Anika : he want me away from his life and that what I will do (then she sobbed and said ) I can do that I have to do that I have to make this pain to stop

Meanwhile

Shivaay sit on the step of the wooden house with closed in pain eyes hearing every single word of the conversation between Anika and Jhanvi !! she knew what he meant !!! that what hurt her the most , what have he done ? how can he break a heart so pure ?

Shivaay closed his eyes harder as a tear fall on his cheek , feeling a painful aching in his heart as if his already broken heart with Surbhi loss , just got broken more to another piece

The next day

Anika opened her eyes with sun rise and her first look was at the calendar as today is the day she waited for month thinking it will be the happiest day in her life !!

She went near the sink and washed her face that was covered with her dried tears then went near Jhanvi who was sleeping on the coach and she kissed her head with a faint smile and Jhanvi opened her eyes !!
