I felt butterflies in my stomach when Lisa caught me looking at her. But she didn't react in any way. She just looked right back at me. Our eye contact broke when the guide told us that we are moving to the next stop at the Udobong. We are going to hike to reach the top.
The incline is just a little steep right at the beginning, but then it's easy, almost flat towards the lighthouse, and you'll have the best views.
I looked at Lisa as her eyes sparked when we reach the top. There was this warm feeling again in my heart.
"Come on guys I'll take pictures of you" she said to no one in specific. So everyone was just staring at her.
She looked at us and shook her head. "I'll take pictures for all of you. Get ready with your partner. Let's go. Seulgi and Irene you're first" Just like that she was gone with the couple at a spot where she thought she can get good shots.
Next was Andrew and Chloe. Than Bambam and Jackson. Than Rosie who took Jisoo unnie with her too. And now I'm all alone without a partner to get a picture.
I know where this is going. They think I'll not know what they are trying to do.
FLASHBACK
After Lisa sang while looking at me Jisoo unnie dragged me with her to where Irene and Rosie were.
"What's going on between you and Lisa" was the first question the other two asked as soon as I reached them like they had planned it.
"Nothing's going on between us" I replied too soon and cringed internally. I know they are not convinced either even though there still isn't anything going. Yet.
"Well you should know that it's written all over your face that you like my best friend" Rosie said
"Why would I like her. I have known her for what? A month?" I replied. Well it's true how can I like someone in such a short amount of time when I haven't done that for so long with so many people who have the same interest as me.
"Jendukie I know you inside and out. And I can tell that you like her. Just admit it" Jisoo unnie said this time
"Lisa is a good girl. She can be a little playful sometimes but you can trust her Jennie" Irene said
"Yes my best friend might be weird sometimes but I know she likes you too" Rosie said
"You're just being in denial lil sis" Jisoo unnie ended the whole conversation while I was looking at Lisa
I'm still thinking about what Rosie said.

BACK TO REALITY
And here it comes.
"Come here Jennie. I'll take pictures of you and Lisa. As you are the only once left" Jisoo unnie said with a devilish smirk on her face.
Uhgg... I knew this was coming. Now they are going to push us toward each other the whole time we will be here.
And I can't stop these weird feelings whenever I'm near her. Which only increase after knowing she might like me.
Do I like her too??
"Stand a little closer you two" I heard Jisoo said once again when Lisa and I posed awkwardly. We scoot a little closer than before.
"They are hopeless" Rosie said while shaking her head and walked to us. She made us do a pose herself while pushing us toward each other, which I reluctantly did.
I felt Lisa put her arm on my shoulder as she smiled at the camera. I was looking at her when I heard the clicking sound from camera.
Lisa looked at me. "Relax Jennie. It's just me" She said and smiled while looking at me and I heard another clicking noise. "let's get it done fast?" She asked me and I nodded. I feel a bit more relaxed now.
Yeah it's just Lisa, you can do this Jennie.
I was determined so I woke my inner model Jennie mode on and started posing like a pro. And was shocked the least to say that Lisa understood every time without me telling her how to pose next.
You can say that in all our pictures we were a little intimate more than normal friends should be. But our friends were happy with the result.
While walking back towards Jisoo. I was thinking how comfortable I was with Lisa just moments ago. And how she made me relax.
I was thinking too much while walking that I didn't notice the stone ahead and I tripped. I closed my eyes and waited to feel the ground but it didn't happen.
Everything went in slow motion.
There were long slender arms around my waist. Holding me protectively and firmly. Everything was silent at that moment and I heard another clicking sound. More than once this time, but I didn't care.
I was enjoying the smell that I learned to love a while ago. When she was holding me close to her, posing for pictures.
I didn't have to look at her to tell you all that it was Lisa who saved me.
"I got you" I heard her whisper softly. My eyes were still close and my arms were wrapped around her shoulders.
She helped me stand straight and I finally opened my eyes just to look at her doe eyes looking straight at mine.
"Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" She asked, worry evident in her eyes.
"I'm fine. Thankyou for saving me" I said while trying to untangle our bodies. But she held me firmly, not letting me go.
I could see from the corner of my eyes that our friends were looking at us. "Ahm Lis everyone is looking at us" I said in a low voice that only she can hear. I blushed realizing the slip up of the nickname.
As if woken from a trance she retrieved her arm from my waist and I suddenly felt cold again.
She fake coughed and said "I was just worried that you hurt your ankle." She said like justifying her actions. "I know you tend to do that a lot" she only whispered the last line but I still heard it because she was standing close to me. Ready to save me from falling again.
