22. Jennie's Conclusion

SEULGI POV

I am so happy that Lisa is finally trying to open her heart to someone. She was always conserved on the matter of love as she thought she wasn't worth loving. She always berated herself because she was intersex. When I found out about her secret, I was shocked at first but we all understood that she had no control over that. It was natural for her to have that down there. We are all mature enough to not outcast her after that discovery.

"I like her Seulgi. I like Jennie." She said after a while of walking in silent. We are already here at the private beach of the resort. Its not empty but its not crowded as well. We can talk privately here.

"I know you do. And I'm happy for you Limario" I pulled her toward a sitting area at one of the secluded part of the beach. "So what will you do now? When are you going to tell her?"

"I can't just simply tell her that I like her. We have just build our friendship. I don't want to loose what I already have with her." she said while looking at the ocean.

"You should at least give it a try. I am not telling you to drop the bomb immediately. Make her fall for you. I know you can with your charm. Spend some time alone with her. Ask her out for dinner or something while we are here." I suggested. If she don't do something maybe I will. Irene told me that Jennie also feel something for Lisa. She's just confused right now.

"But what if she hates me after she find out about you know" she looked down at her junior once and than looked at me with sad eyes.

"Hey you know Jennie is not like your high school classmates. I know she will not treat you differently even if she knows about your junior." I said "And I have seen it so I can guarantee you that she is going to love it when you two you will do it" I tried to lighten the mood. Even though I know she is going to hit me.

"Yah what are you talking about you idiot" she shouted and tried to punch me. But I was prepared so I was already on the move to run away from her. I laughed when I saw her ears turn deep shade of red.

THIRD PERSON VIEW

Day after tomorrow is 27 March, that is Lisa's birthday. Irene told everyone that Seulgi is distracting Lisa so the coast is clear to plan something special for her birthday. But only she knew what the actual reason why they went outside was.

Seulgi and Irene took it upon themselves to do something for the two lovebirds. So they took the opportunity of Lisa's birthday to start Mission Jenlisa.

MARCH 26, 2020

Its almost midnight and all of them are here outside Lisa and Rosie's room with cakes, Balloons, Party poppers, Various snacks and a few drinks. Rosie will sneak them in just before the clock hits 12am.

Lisa never liked big parties for her birthdays. She always just wanted to spend her birthday with her close friends and family watching a movie or playing board games. Her friends knew her too well not to do such things too. So their plan was simple and they were sure that Lisa will like it.

They also included the plan of bringing Jennie and Lisa together. Yes Seulgi and Irene included everyone else in their team to get Jenlisa ship sailing.

LISA MANOBAN

They all sang Happy Birthday to me and I couldn't stop the smile on my face. I am so lucky to have these people in my life. Even Andrew, Chloe, Jisoo and Jennie too. They were the newest edition in our little group. Though Andrew and Chloe are going back to France today. It is sad to say goodbye but we promised to stay in contact.

They all hugged me one by one and wished me Happy birthday again after cake cutting. I am finally 23 people. They had Sana on a video call when they came in my room and I thanked her too, I wished she was here too. She is the only one missing in the group.

After the cake cutting they insisted on watching a movie. They put some extra Pillows and Blankets on the floor in front of the couch. The couch could only fit 3 people and a single one so the rest had to adjust on the floor. Andrew and Chloe took their leave because they had an early flight in the morning. We all wished them good luck for their relationship as they will be getting married soon.

So the sitting arrangements were Rosie, Me and Jennie on the big couch. Jisoo on the single sofa. Bambam, Jackson, Seulgi and Irene on the floor.

They put all the snacks and drinks on the table, which is in the middle of Seulrene and boys, to have easy access for everyone.

2 hours a few drinks and snacks later, Bambam and Jackson were already asleep on the floor. Seulgi and Irene were cuddling under the extra blanket they had. Jisoo and Rosie were fully focused on movie and eating.

Lisa turned to her left side, where Jennie was. Who, she'd learned, was very serious about not making comments during movies - which Lisa was very much same about, and she was grateful for it. All her friends loved to talk throughout movies they watched, and it drove her crazy. Though they are busy right now, sleeping, cuddling or eating.

She took in the way Jennie had her arms crossed resting on the pillow on her lap as she was leaning back against the couch. How she sat, legs crossed on the couch. The way she was so engrossed in the movie.

I was looking at her, taking in her features, how the lights from TV screen reflected on her face, how her expressions changed according to what was going on in the movie.

JENNIE KIM

Jennie took a deep breath as she felt Lisa's wondering eyes tracing her face from her right side. Lisa leaned in and Jennie watched as those blonde strands brushed against the backrest of the couch. She rested her head on Jennie's shoulder. Lisa looked at her "Rosie won't let me" she simply said and continued to rest her head on Jennie's shoulder.

Jennie prayed to all the gods in the heaven to stop her heart beating like she has just finished a marathon.

The movie ended soon and Jennie found Lisa asleep on her shoulder too. Only Rosie, Jisoo and Jennie were awake.

Jisoo and Rosie looked at each other first than looked at Jennie together, who raised an eyebrow at their weird behavior. They both immediately stood up and said "Good Luck" to her. Leaving her there with the rest of their friends sleeping. Jisoo went to her own room and Rosie went to her bed to sleep.

Jennie just looked at the both of them in disbelief. She didn't have words to complain to any of them. Also she didn't want to wake Lisa up, who looked so peaceful while sleeping. She was like a cute little child while sleeping.

Jennie looked at Lisa intently enjoying the closeness and the warmth from Lisa's body. She traced the light frown in between her eyebrows only to get a cute scrunch from Lisa's nose. It was so cute Jennie almost giggled at her action.

At that moment Jennie concluded two things.

First, that she likes Lisa more than a friend. She don't know when it happened. Maybe the first time Lisa bumped into her on the airport. Or maybe when she caught Lisa sneaking glances at her during the fair in Seoul. Or maybe when Lisa saved her from tripping, the concern and care she showed. At that moment Lisa was like an open book, reveling all her emotions to Jennie that she couldn't take her eyes from her.

Second, she wanted to give it a try. She wanted to spend more time with Lisa, to understand her feelings more. So she decided she will take Lisa's offer for her documentary.
