Bonus Chapter

JENNIE KIM

I shook my head in amusement while looking at Lisa pacing back and forth in front of me. We were having a late night stroll near our hotel when I fainted out of the blue.

She had been murmuring something and didn't even realize that all the people around us are giving her weird looks.

It has been 30 minutes since the doctor finished taking all the tests he needed plus the unnecessary tests that my dear hubby forced him to do.

I can tell she is blaming herself even though it was just because I was tired from all the travelling.

It's been a month since we got married on the Brüschweiler's private island  and went on our long honeymoon. Our close friends and relatives were the only ones who attended the actual wedding ceremony. We did host a reception for all our business friends and partners. There was such a huge mess of media outside the venue that we had to take a chopper to go back home.

But now we are touring around Europe for our Honeymoon. We just took a flight to Scotland from Paris this evening. I was already feeling down when Lisa suggested to go on a walk but looking at the excitement in her eyes I couldn't say no. Well all the excitement is vanished and replaced by worry now.

"Lis. Can you get me some water please." I asked just to distract her. My test results will be out soon and she will have no reason to worry.

"Of course baby. I'll be back in a minute." She rushed towards the canteen to get a bottle even though there was a vending machine right on the other end of the hall. Worried Lisa is not smart.

She handed me the bottle when she came back and took a seat next to me. I placed my hand on her thigh and turned sideways to look at her, "You don't have to worry so much. I am totally fine Lisa." I told to calm her down.

"How can I not worry? One month into wedding and you already FAINTED on me Jennie." I bit my lower lip because if I tell her that I was already unwell before we went out for a walk, I will get some serious lecture.

She squeezed her eyes and looked at me with worry in her eyes. "Are you really feeling okay now?"

I palmed and kissed all over her face, it was embarrassing to do this in front of an older couple sitting opposite us but I need to calm this baby down. "See I'm totally fine." I said when I felt her getting relaxed.

Lisa hugged my waist and melted in my arms. "I should be the one taking care of you, not the other way around." she complained as I played with her hairs. I smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"Close your eyes for a while. You must be tired from staying up all night. I will wake you up when the test result is here." I lightly massaged her scalp to help her relax. It was already sunrise when I woke up in the hospital bed with Lisa by my side. I know she didn't get any sleep last night because of me.

Lisa murmured something in her sleep, I sighed and looked around us. I gave a small smile to the other couple and thought of how our first night in Scotland ended with us being in a hospital. We could have been cuddled up in our hotel room right now if I had asked her to stay.

"Mrs. Jennie Kim Manoban" A nurse came with a folder in her hand. "That's me" I said softly, not wanting to wake up Lisa. "Here are you test result. The doctor wants to see you and your husband." The nurse smiled and handed the files to me.

"Hey Liz. Wake up baby." she had been sleeping for only 15 minutes before the nurse came. Well 15 is better than nothing. I want her to look at the files so she can see for herself that I am fine. "Test results are here."

"I am up." she said while suddenly getting up. She looked at me for a second before taking the files from me and opening the folder.

I have already seen everything and it was all normal. "Like I said. I am fine and was just tired." I told her again and saw the tension leaving her body.
