62. Lisa & Grandpa Shino

A few days later Jennie was already gone for the next destination of her tour. She only had one concert in Singapore in the whole month of May.

The additional tour dates of her concert were also released. She will be having One concert in Paris, one concert in Thailand and two more concert in Korea in the month of July and August.

She prepared a special performance during her free time for the concert on these 3 places as they will be done more privately with Less than 300 people. The tickets were pricey but still they were sold out within minutes.

Lisa on the other hand was supper busy with the work. Even though she helped her father with business before, it was different to actually directly manage everything.

The day Jennie went out of country for her next concert was the day Lisa was informed about her meeting with Mr. Kim Sung-hoon, Grandpa Kim.

Sung-Hoon POV

My meeting with Marco didn't go as expected. I travelled all the way to Thailand because he told me that his daughter will be taking over the MB group branch in Seoul. I was happy to know the grand daughter of my late best friend Thomas will be working closely with me.

We made plans for the upcoming project, which is going to be the most luxurious Mall in Seoul. We finalized the location and purchased the land only the documentation was left, which will be done before Lisa joins her company.

My friend Thomas told me about her condition that's why we decided to go through with the plan. If she didn't had a male genital our dream of becoming one family would not be accomplished. And even though Thomas is not here with us I want to turn this dream into reality.

But not everything goes as planned. does it? After our meeting, Marco invited me for dinner. He told me about his daughter and her girlfriend.

Very Politely but firmly he made it clear that his daughter will have the final say in this marriage. If she doesn't want to marry my granddaughter than no one will force her too.

Marco is quite similar to Thomas, both in looks and mentality. Thomas also used to be the lover boy among us. He loved his family more than anything. If he was here, he would have said the same thing.

I understand their side but I can't help but to be a little sad about this whole situation.

"Enter" I said when I heard the knock on my office door. The gorgeous tall women entered the room with doll like eyes. She had a mask on her face but her outfit screamed power and authority.

She came in front of my desk and bowed down, removing her mask in the process as well. She was really beautiful. Anyone who will get to marry her will be absolutely lucky.

"I finally get to meet you Lalisa" I said standing up and rounding the table to go in front of her. She smiled looking at me.

"I'm so honoured to meet you too Mr. kim"

"Oh don't be so formal my dear." I hugged her when I was finally in front of her. "Call me Grandpa Kim or better Grandpa Shino just like older times." I used to hear her sweet little voice on many occasions when I was on call with Thomas.

"Oh.. of course. Grandpa Kim is cool. I believe no one knows you're nickname 'shino' here so let's keep it that way." I laughed because she is right. It will be embarrassing if my employees know that.

"Come on let's take a seat." I made my way to the couch in my office. "How are you Lalisa? How's office life treating you so far?"

"I'm doing better than expected actually. I never thought I would enjoy working in office. And Uncle Ji young is a great mentor. Work is more fun with him in the picture."

"He learned from the best" I joked and we both shared a light laugh. "You must have met Jisoo too?"

"Of course. She takes her personality from you and uncle. And she helps me with the work too. We visited the site together the other day. I have to say that your choice for the location is amazing. I can't find any better location for this project."

"Haha you know how to butter people up. It's good that you met her already. Thomas and I wanted to keep our friendship going through our children and grandchildrens." It would be better if it was more than friendship though.

"Oh.. you don't have to worry about that Grandpa Kim. We go way back. I met her when I first came to Korea." I was shocked to know this.

"That's amazing. I am so happy that you are friends. But if you don't mind I want to ask something personal?" I continued when she nodded "Marco told me that you have a girlfriend. Is there any chance that it's Jisoo?"

She laughed loudly. It took her a few moments to control herself. "I'm so sorry" the big smile still present on her face. "I met her through my girlfriend. They are actually... well like best friends. Jisoo unnie is like a sister to me. My girlfriend even says that we both are crackheads." She giggled in the end shaking her head.

"Is that so. And who is this lucky girl?" I asked wanting to know who her girlfriend is. I'm curious can you blame me?

"Oh.. Umm she-she is." She stuttered for the first time. She was so confident and charming even while meeting me for the first time but now. What happened?

She cleared her throat and smiled slightly. "I'm the one who is lucky in our relationship. You would know her when you meet her in person. She is really special." She had a soft smile on her face. I can tell that she is really in love with this girl.

"Well It would be an honor to meet your girlfriend someday. It looks like you really love her." She blushed instantly. Ahh Young People in Love.

"And I guess even though it's cancelled now you have a right to know this." She looked at me confused. "Thomas and I had arranged your marriage with my eldest granddaughter Jisoo." She stiffened and looked at me with wide eyes.

"What do you mean grandpa kim?"

"We always wanted our kids to marry but since we both had sons it was not possible. But than when you came and Thomas told me about your." I looked down at her part and saw her blush again. I cleared my throat "So we arranged yours and Jisoo's wedding. But well you have a girlfriend already so it's pretty much cancelled."

"Pretty much?" Was that the only thing she registered?

"I mean it's up to you, who you marry. We will not force our decision on you. Your dad made it very clear and I totally agree with his decision too."

"Ohh... I don't know what to say"

"It's okay dear. I'm just telling you this because you are directly involved. Your Grandpa and I had made many promises and to tell you the truth one out of ten is what we fulfilled. Promises are meant to be broken."

"Thankyou Grandpa Shino." I smiled because she called me shino. The only people who call me that are her grandfather and her. I miss my bestfriend he would have been proud of his granddaughter.

We talked about other things and joked around. I felt like I was with Thomas for a while. Even though Lalisa is not related to him by blood, she is really similar to Thomas in numerous ways.
