Everyone was talking about the new CEO of the MB group headquarters in Seoul. No one knew anything about the mysterious CEO except for her name that was LM. The person in all black outfit with the mask was all over the Korean media outlets.
All the employees were shocked to see that the CEO was actually very young. They all thought that she was a close relative of the founder because even if the heir will join office it will most probably in Thailand under his/her father's supervision.
The meeting with the board of directors went well and Lisa was given the information about the first major project she will be handling in the company.

I will be representing the MB group in our new project with the Kim corporation. I was shocked to know that for my first ever project I will have to work with Jennie's family. And Jennie was even more shocked to know that I will be working with her family company.
She gave me a heads-up that I will most probably be working with her grandfather and father because they manage all the contracts with the Mb group personally.
I don't know how to feel about this. I mean her parents were good to me when I met them on Christmas. But I don't know how to feel about grandpa shino. I mean I have heard him talk to my grandpa before but never met him in person. And the way Jennie describees him, I get more nervous.
I had a mask, sunglasses and cap on as I entered the Kim Corporation Building. What are the odds that my first day at work starts with a meeting with the great Kim Sung-Hoon?
I told the receptionist my name, L.M, and about my meeting with the CEO. She checked something in her computer. I saw her eyes were widen and she was looking back and forth between me and the computer screen.
She picked up her phone and speed dialed one of the number. She whispered a few words and dropped the call.
"Please wait for a while. The CEO is on the way here." She said with such a formal and confident voice I couldn't believe she was the same girl from before.
I thanked her and took my seat on the waiting area. A few people who were passing by were giving me weird looks. Maybe because I'm not formally dressed. I had a simple blue denim jeans and jacket paired with a simple black tank top. Not to mention the mask and cap.
As I was waiting everyone in the Lobby stopped walking. They all straightened their posture and bowed down a little in greeting. I stood up and straightened my jacket. I turned around and saw Uncle Kim, Jennie's father walking toward me. I smiled under the mask looking at the charming man confidently walking toward me. He has a completely different Aura from when I met him in Busan.
"Good Morning Mr. Kim, I'm honored to work with you." I extended my hand for a handshake. From the corner of my eye I saw all the employees murmuring.
"The honor is all mine. Welcome to the Kim Corporation." He shook my hand firmly with a smile on his face. "Let's talk in my Office. There are a lot of people here and I think that mask is quite uncomfortable."
"You won't believe even if I told you. But I'm used to it." We laughed a little and made our way to his office. It was only Mr. Kim, his secretary and I in the elevator. We made small talks about the business.
"Make yourself comfortable." He told me as soon as we were alone in his office. I took my cap off instantly.
"Mr. Kim I have to tell you something before we start this meeting." He looked at me as soon as he sat down on his boss chair. I was still standing on the opposite side of the huge table.
"Go on." he rested his arms on the table and looked at me intently. Can he be any less intimidating?
"Umm.. I-I am Lalisa." he cut me off.
"I already know that Lalisa your parents have mentioned it a lot of time." He said nodding.
"Of course they did." I mumbled under my breath. "I am Lalisa... I mean Lisa Manoban" I took my mask off slowly, dramatically, looking at his reaction. He didn't move at all. He had the same straight face as before. Seconds passed as I tried to read his reaction which was absolutely nothing.
"Mr. Kim?" I tried to get his attention. I was sweating as he still didn't say anything.
Before I could say anything else I heard him laugh out loud. I was confused by his reaction as he said "Oh my god... I'm Sorry for that... But it is so funny.... Look at your face."
There was a giggling sound from behind me. I turned around to look it was coming from one of the doors in his office. I suppose that's a washroom. I made my way towards the door. The sound was getting louder as I stepped closer to the door.
I looked at Mr. Kim who was controlling his laughter. He nodded as if giving me permission to open the door and so I did. My jaw was literally dropped on the floor to see all three Kim women giggling in the washroom.
I sighed and slide down, sitting on the floor dramatically. They laughed more looking at my reaction. I saw someone coming toward me and kneeling down too. Soon I was wrapped in my girlfriends arms. Her body was shaking from all the laughing but I was relieved to see her there.
"I almost had a heart attack" I whispered in her ear, she giggled more and rubbed my back soothingly. I melted in her arms and almost forgot about everyone else in the room.
I heard someone coughing, so I pulled back from the hug and saw Jennie's parents and Jisoo unnie smiling at us. No one was laughing now. I suddenly felt embarrassed of the whole situation. I stood up and helped Jennie stand up too.
"This was a setup all along" I concluded and saw their smile growing bigger.
