56. Lisa's Family

LALISA MANOBAN

I woke up in an empty bed but with a sweet aroma engulfing all of me. I looked towards the kitchen and saw Jennie cooking something while humming and dancing. Her movements looked so effortless like she is floating in the air.

She looks perfect even without makeup and her morning hairs messily tucked in a bun.

I went and stood in front of her on the other side of the kitchen island. She is still wearing the same black shirt from last night.

"Good morning Babe" she cheerfully said pecking my lips before continuing her work.

"Good morning... You're up early, couldn't sleep?" I said looking at the time, it was only 7am.

"Don't worry I slept well.. and I have a few hours before going back to the stadium so I thought why not make breakfast for us."

"What ya making?" I tried to peek at the stove behind her.

"I'm trying to cook Thai food... Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup." She said with a gummy smile.

"You know how to cook Thai food?" I asked astonished.

"Nope" she said with a pop sound "But I had help from google." She said showing me her phone where the recipe was opened.

I shook my head in pure amazement. "Well all the best with that, I can't help you even if I want to. So I'll go get freshed." I kissed her cheek before making my way to the washroom area. The only area that had a frosted glass wall.

After having the best breakfast, delicious, I took her to the stadium. I didn't need a ticket to enter because well I was with her, and than she got me a backstage pass so I can access any area in the stadium. I wasn't a part of her photography team this time so I didn't had much to do except just watch her.

The show was flawless without any problems. She even spoke in Thai. I'm helping her with the basics for a long time now, even from before her tour started. She wanted to learn the language because of me.

The following night we slept tangled with each other. No piece of clothing between us. We made love like we haven't seen each other for a long time.

We are going to meet my parents today. It's Jennie's day off but instead of resting she is here looking gorgeous beside me while I drive us to my parents house.

I was so nervous when I met her parents in person for the first time, even though I talked with them a few times before it was still nerve racking.

But here she is totally normal. Either she is too freaked out to even react or she is too good at hiding her nervousness. There is no way she's not nervous.

I squeezed her hand that I was holding to get her attention. "Aren't you nervous?"

"Yeah... A little?" She admitted.

"Well  you're meeting you're possible in-laws." I wiggled my eyebrows jokingly aa she rolled her eyes smiling. "That too for the first time, and it's not like you have talked to them through phone calls."

"Hmm... But I'm actually a little excited to meet them... The way you describe them in your story I know they are amazing people." She gave me her mischievous smile. "And I would love to hear some embarrassing stories of your too."

"Oh... Now I get it why you're excited." I shook my head.

"Yeah!.. how can I forget all that teasing I received over Christmas. Now it's my turn." She had an evil smile on her face which sent shiver down my spine.
