Middle Distance is the valley on Zonama Sekot where the Ferroans first settled.

Grand Master of the Eternal Order: Delvargus Kong Junior was meditating calmy on the soft, green grass watching the Ferroan children play tag and hide and go seek.
Ferroans are pale-blue skinned humanoids with gold eyes. Most females had white hair but some had traditional black hair. They were from planet Ferro and had colonized the Inner Ferro systems. They were known for their independence, reclusive manner, and for not often leaving their homes.
They were also the colonists of Zonama Sekot and, like Grand Master Kong's Eternals believed in the Potentium. When Jedi Luke Skywalker first met them he mistakenly called them Zonamans. The Ferroans of Zonama Sekot were also very attuned to the idea of a sentient planet, many having grown up very aware of the lifeforces around them. However, they weren't symbiotic to it, as the YuuzhanVong were presumed once to be.
Delvargus sensed a presence, a familiar one that called out to him through the Force. It was Ohmal Kong, his and Nareshas son. "Father, I'm at the Far Distance like you requested."
Without thinking Dj instantly teleported to the Far Distance through the Force. Teleportation is a rare Force ability that enabled the user to move from one place to another almost instantaneously. Darth Jadus has shown his skills with this ability, as well as Dj's wife who is the entity called Abeloth and/or Mourning. Djs wife Ezurian and Amaterasu are also masters of the ability.
A similar power to instantly move persons, items, or even with the right technology, ships, was known as Fold Space.
It was among the most uncommon of rare Force powers, seeing rare use among Forcefuls who favored the power of the Force over lightsaber skills. It also consumed a bit more energy than some powers and took a bit more time to master. Most beings new to the skill could likely move no more than four feet away, while a master of this skill could likely move anywhere they could clearly see or sense.
