At least a hundred SU-47s were flying over Pearl Harbor firing at anything that moved. Many of the CIS warships engaging Eggman Nega's fighters were designed for mass production, and were designed for business "scores" not a full scale war. Many of the CIS leaders fought well but a few perished, and wouldn't spend the money for a traditional fleet. Only the Providences seem to be specifically designed for combat. The Lukrehulks were simply converted freighters with very strong shields and some turbolaser offensive capability., but with the sheer number of Turbolasers and the shield power added, with the fighter and troop compliment, a Lucrehulk is much a more battle-worthy ship than a carrier like a Venator. That's not bad at all for a converted ship. The Recusants are mass-produced destroyers. The Munificents were used on harass worlds heavily in debt, guard treasure vaults, and transfer financial assets. They also were holonet relays, even though they have good anti-ship cannons. The CIS on Albion had virtually no warships larger than 3-km.

On the ground the droids weren't as effective in battle as Clones and other living crews, the Droid Fighters were easily destroyed by Eggman's forces and some Eggman ships can be out-maneuvered by droids and surprised, sheer numbers can overwhelm the Eggman Empire, though.
