Cybertron - homeworld to the Cybertronians - was once a peaceful and beautiful empire until the first war between the Autobots and the Decepticons ravaged it, turning it into a barren wasteland solely filled with death and rust. This epic battle became so large that it continued onto another planet called Earth; it was there the fighting took an incredible turn with the Autobots claiming victory over their tyrannical foes. Once everything was over, a miracle arrived in the form of the aforementioned dead world coming back to life. The event even caused the remainder of both sides to ban together and take action in rebuilding their home and making it better than ever.
Everything soon returned to the norm and peace thrived again throughout all of Cybertron for decades . . . but all good things must come to an end. War came back to the planet due to the reincarnation of the Decepticon army and in response to that, new Autobot freedom fighters rose up to protect the innocent. This second war lasted for years until it took a turn for the worse when the Decepticons gained the upper hand and began pushing the Autobots onto the edge of utter destruction.
It was the end days of the second Autobot-Decepticon War with the Autobots making a final stand at their base located in the center of Iacon as the Decepticons press on with their relentless attack. The dark skies were filled with menacing airships and Vehicon Air Drones in their jet mode while the ground below was crowded with Land Drones, tanks, and mobile heavy artillery. Anti-aircraft guns and ion turrets along with an Energon overshield were the only things keeping the outside forces from breaking in but even they were beginning to fail.

The interior of the headquarters' main control center was just as hectic with Autobot soldiers and Autotroopers sitting at numerous consoles, trying their best to keep their defenses up as alarms blared loudly. "Optimus Prime sir, our shields can't take much more of this. Power is currently at fifty percent," announced a panicking soldier.
"We've lost our eastern anti-aircraft gun! And the remaining three are taking heavy damage!" called out another.
In the middle of the room, Optimus Prime - the current leader of the Autobots - was standing tall and fearless as he watched the efforts of their enemies through a large observation window.
