he gateway city of Portal functions as Angel Island's chief link of commerce and travel with the mainland continents of Mobius. After Shadow The Hedgehog took over, he moved the world capital to Portal, a merchant city on Angel Island. From there, Shadow and his wife Sally ruled from Castle Mobius. The castle has a dungeon, which held several prisoners, from Rebel soldiers to even live Jedi.

Looking from the top floor of Castle Mobius King Shadow felt the cold breeze come all the way down to his body. However, while he felt 'peace' around Mobius/Earth a few of the the people were stating otherwise. As such they were. . . silenced. Moreover, he thought he could expand his global empire known as the the Dark Presence. The Dark Presence is the reconstructed Dark Legion under Lien-Da's rule. It has two primary branches, the Dark Hands which act as the ground forces, and the Dark Eyes which are spies. It was formed shortly after King Shadow's takeover and was used by him to enforce his rule on the planet.
Just then Lien-Da came into the throne room bowing before her king. "My liege. I have news." She said.
King Shadow: What is it?
Lien-Da: The Rebel Alliance has lost their base on YavinFour and the Galactic Empire has Princess Leia in their custody.
