The Beach

The week had been rather calm.
Andrea had dared to kiss Sam after their date and they were now a couple.

Maya and Carina had really grown close. So much so that the whole group noticed. Carina didn't care what anyone else thought. She really liked Maya and didn't want to let her shyness ruin her life, or at least ruin the chance to be with her.

The guys no longer teased them about whether or not they wanted to be together or whether or not they were going to kiss. It quickly became natural to see them together, so close. Holding each other's arms as they talked or seeing them looking at each other's lips when one of them spoke.

The other kids must have noticed too because the boys weren't coming to Carina as much and the girls were starting to say hello or smile at her.

However nothing. No kiss had been exchanged during that week. It was not the desire that had been lacking in either of them, rather the courage. But did they really need courage? It was obvious that the attraction was mutual between them.

They couldn't deny that there was something going on between them. Friends don't look at each other like that.

The following Saturday, as agreed, they all went to the beach.

Santa Maria la Scala was a beach not very well known by tourists and the fact that it was now almost the end of September allowed them to have the beach to themselves.

So they set up their towels on the sand near the rocks. The two girls sat down next to each other.

Carina had opted for a long flowing dress, Maya was in Bermuda shorts and tank top. The young people removed their clothes to keep only their bathing suits.

Carina was the first of the two in a two-piece, as she only had her dress on top.

It was the first time Maya saw Carina, so scantily clad the two young women going into the locker room with doors during sports classes.

Maya, who was taking off her tank top, stopped her run in full swing with her arms still in the air to stare at Carina's body. It was a minute that she was blocked like that without blinking when the Italian pulled her out of her trance: "do you see something you like? "

- "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to look at you like that. I didn't expect you to be so ho..."

- "because you pictured me in my underwear?"

Maya let out a nervous laugh as she finished removing her top. Then her stocking.

- "I also like very much what I see" said the Italian while passing by the blonde, making sure that the American saw that she had looked her up and down while lingering on her chest.

- "Are we going in the water?" asked Alberto

- "Totally!" Jack replied.

The guys all went into the water followed by Sam, Maggie and Izzie.

Lexie, Jo, Maya and Carina stayed on their towels.

Carina turned to Maya: "So... What did you imagine?"

- "What do you mean? "

- "earlier you said you didn't imagine me as ho.... "

- "you don't look athletic, I didn't think you were sculpted. I'm impressed."

- "just... Impressed?"

- "not that" she said, looking again at the body of the Italian.

-"Come with me" said Carina, getting up.
