New Year's Eve

Carina had moved in with Maya the following weekend. The first weekend in December.

However, she still owned her apartment for a few weeks.
They had proposed to their friends to come and celebrate New Year's Eve at their place.
They could sleep in part in her old home.

All had accepted. They were so happy for the two young women and especially to be able to join together finally.

Andy spent a lot of time with girls. She had broken up with her boyfriend the first week of December. They hadn't been together long and she had found out that he had cheated on her with an ex-girlfriend of his.

For Christmas, Andy, Carina, and Maya had Maya's parents, Andrea and Sam, and Pruitt for Christmas dinner. Maya's parents stayed with Carina.

But what they were really looking forward to was the New Year.
They had both taken a week off. From December 28 to January 3.

They all began to arrive in dribs and drabs.
The first to arrive were the farthest away, Lexie and her boyfriend Marco, Izzie, Alberto, Maggie and Levi. They had all arrived at the same time.
Lexie and Marco had taken Carina's old room. Izzie and Maggie had taken the sofa bed.
Alberto had taken the sofa of the three girls and Levi that of Sam and Andrea. They had arrived on Wednesday evening.

Jo and Alex lived in Chicago and were coming directly on the 31st as well as Travis who was coming from SF, Jack from Miami, Jackson and his girlfriend April from Boston. Dean as well as Arizona, Callie and their daughter Sofia lived in New York.

Maya had accepted that Amelia also be invited but she had refused Gabriella, it was a no way.
Amelia who lived in Philadelphia had known Addison and would therefore sleep at her place.

The two young women had played tour guides for their Italian friends during the first two days of their stay. The 31st had been devoted to shopping and preparing for the evening.

Andrea, Sam, the Italians, Andy, Vic, Ripley and the two young women set to work.
Around 5 pm the rest of the group started to join them as they went along. Mattresses and sleeping bags were stored in the couple's room.

- "well words were put in the mailboxes and on the door, we don't forget anything?" Asked Maya

- "breathe my love everything will be fine"

- "I want everything to be perfect."

- "Not everything has to be perfect. We just have to have a good night."

The intercom rang.

-I'm going to open!" said Andrea.

- "Traviiiiis!!!" Maya said as she jumped into his arms

- "one of my two favorite women!"

- "one of the two?"

-"Your wife, Silly! Where is this Italian beauty?"

- "Amore-mio, we ask for you"

Carina stuck her head out of the kitchen

- "Ciao Bello!"

- "ciao Bella!"

They hugged each other.

- "You have to tell me how it ended with Emmett!"

- "yes, but first tell me that it's not just a straight party and that you thought of me"

- "maybe... Maybe there's a friend of Maya's coming ...."

- "I want to know everything!"

They left to talk in the kitchen while continuing to prepare.

Alex and Jo arrived shortly after, followed by Jack. The apartment had quickly become noisy, they had found their 17 years, they were again on the beach of their 18 years and were in this villa rented for the birthday of the twins. The atmosphere was festive.
