Two days later Carina had asked her brother to visit her at Grey+Sloan.

[Dialogue in Italian]

- "so this is your office?"

-"Yes."

- "nice, with the little Carina DeLuca plate on the door and everything, I'm impressed and proud of you"

- "Thanks, brother. Do you want a coffee?"

- "of course! what a question!"

Carina prepared two coffees in the machine she had in her office.

- "Sit down," she said, pointing to the couch with her brother.

- "why did you send for me?"

- "to tell you about your proposal"

- "okay..."

- "are you really okay with this idea?"

-"Yes, really, or we wouldn't have offered it to you."

- "okay, so I want to ask you something but I don't want you to take it the wrong way"

- "say it?"

- "would you and Sam sign a paper at the notary's office?"

- "for?"

- "to say that this gift is excluded from any possibility later to declare my children as yours, yours?"

- "don't you trust us?"

- "yes but if I die, or Maya, I want to be sure that the other will keep our children, and it won't necessarily come from you, it could be Sam's brothers or something..."

-"Of course we'll sign, they'll be your children. I promise Carina "

- "you don't think Sam will take it the wrong way?"

-"No, absolutely not. In any case, I will have to do the same in reverse. Sign a paper that will indicate that I will never have to provide for them as a parent. Carina, all I want is to give you the life you deserve. These children will be yours and Maya's, her egg, your body. You and I are twins, what's mine is yours."

-"Thank you, thank you baby brother" she said as she took him in her arms

- "Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I would not have liked a stranger to be the donor of your children when I could have done it."

- "so you're going to have to go get tested... make sure you don't have a problem like I do"

-"When we talked about it with Sam, I went the next day to get tested, I didn't want to offer you something without being sure it would work."

A week after these events, on Wednesday September 19th, Travis having finally moved to Seattle, a six-person outing was organized.

So Heather, Taryn, Travis, Michael, Maya and Carina had decided to go to a queer restaurant and club to celebrate the two men moving in.

They had returned to Mary's Hamburger. But unfortunately, that night, no show. The atmosphere was still there. There was a possibility to do karaoke but they had mostly come for the atmosphere, the drag-queen waitresses and to eat well.
