Thanksgiving

The next day the two young people had taken the opportunity to sleep in each other's arms.

Carina woke up first. Maya was in her arms, so she decided to wake her up with some caresses.

The shaggy hair on her girlfriend's arms made her understand that she was finally awake.

- "Hi there" whispered the brunette

- "hmmm... Hi" she answered still asleep

- "what are we doing today?"

- "we sleep"

- "we're in Los Angeles and you want us to sleep all day?"

- "yay!"

- "Don't you want to go out? I want to go to Denny's for breakfast".

- "oh yeah me too"

- "for that we have to get out of this bed"

- "okay"

She began to move away from Carina's body.

- "nooo, wait give me a hug first"

She sat back down and they hugged each other.
When Maya's belly began to rumble, Carina said, "For once it's not me! Let's go, let's get ready!"

They went to the shower and then got ready to go to the restaurant.
When they arrived at Denny's they sat down at the table and ordered food.

- "hmmm I had so much done"

- "you got a lot of exercise yesterday so I'm willing to believe you."

- "not you?"

- "so crazy"

- "what do you want to do next?"

-"I just want to drive down the coast, can we drive down to San Diego? And we'll be home by 7:00 and go to your parents' house?"

- "It could be nice indeed. We can take turns driving."

- "oh yes, I would love that."

They finished eating and headed for America's finest city.
Maya drove to the alley.

Carina had her legs out the window and was enjoying the view.
Their hands were intertwined on Maya's leg.

She took pictures from time to time, pictures of them, pictures of Maya and the landscape.

-"Bambina, I love traveling with you," she said, making waves in the wind with her free hand.

-"I can't believe it's all true."

-"I do, because I can finally feel my heart beat."

- "I love you"

- "I love you too"

After two hours of driving they had arrived in San Diego. They decided to visit the old city and to go for a ride on the jet boat in the bay and to walk a little along the bay.
At 5pm they were back on the road. This time Carina was driving.

- "Bambina, tonight I would like to invite your parents to the restaurant, to thank them for all they have done for us since we have known each other"

- "yes Amore-mio, it could be nice"

- "this view, it's so romantic," she says, looking at the sun on the horizon over the Pacific Ocean.

- "everything I do with you is romantic"

Maya began to make little drawings with her fingers on Carina's thigh.

- "Bambina, I'm driving"

- "and I'm a little bored, I need to keep busy"
