Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (part 1)

Carina was scheduled to land at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport at 5:00 pm. She had boarded at 11pm and between flight time and time difference she arrived 1:30 after Maya's classes ended and her winter break began. It was December 15 and she was leaving on January 2 to resume classes on January 3.
That made them a little more than 18 days together.

Carina went down the escalator and saw Maya in the distance but couldn't get off because there were so many people in front of her. "What's with all these people who come to spend Christmas where there isn't even any snow," she thought, irritated at not being able to run into her beautiful girl's arms.

This escalator was probably the longest one she had ever taken, at least that was the feeling she had. When she was finally able to put one foot on the ground, she ran into the arms of her beloved and dropped her things when she reached her level to jump into her arms.

They may have seen each other a month ago but it didn't matter, even twenty-four hours away from Maya was too much.

The cuddle lasted a long time. Nothing felt better than being in each other's arms.
Carina loosened her legs from Maya's waist to rest her feet on the ground and plant her lips on hers.

- "Bambina, I missed you so much"

- "we met not even a month ago"

- "and then... Didn't you miss me? "

- "Of course I do" she said as she approached Carina once again to kiss her.

When they arrived at the base, they went to Maya's house to put down her belongings. Maya had been driving since the airport, being over eighteen years old she could now drive another person.

The house was empty. The blonde's parents were still at work.

-"Bambina, you know what I want? "

-"I have a little idea..." She said with a smirk

They came out at the same time:
Maya: "sex"
Carina: "a shower"

- "ah, I didn't expect that..." Maya said.

- "but you can come with me in the shower... But Bambina, I haven't showered in about 20 hours, I spent more than 15 hours on a plane "

- "amore, amore, I don't take it badly, don't worry and then as you say, we can always ... Do it in the shower".

After the shower they settled in Maya's bed to watch a movie. In less than 20 minutes the Italian girl had fallen asleep in Maya's arms. The arms of the blonde was her favorite place in the world and she slept peacefully.

At 9 pm she woke up. Maya had not moved, she had put on another movie and was stroking Carina's hair.

- "excuse me, my love, I fell asleep, but I like so much to be in your arms"

- "no worries baby, you were tired"

Carina's belly rumbles.

-"Are you hungry, amore? "

- "I'm starving, you mean"

- "come on we're going to eat, my mom went upstairs an hour ago but I told them to eat without us because you were sleeping"

- "you should have woken me up"

-"You were tired, you needed it and you were so cute.

- "drooling on you"

- "you didn't even drool" she said with a laugh

They went downstairs and Maya's parents were watching television. They went to say hello and then went into the kitchen.
