The days went by and they all looked the same on the whole. A certain rhythm had settled into the lives of the two women.

It had been a month since Maya had become captain, officially of Station 19.

The more the interventions followed, the more Chief McCallister realized the excellent choice he had made in placing Maya in this position and in this barracks.

The response times and results of the interventions were as good as when Pruitt Herrera was the captain. However, new blood had done the station good. And it even tended to raise the level of excellence and requirement.

Pruitt was always at the front desk, he was a bit of a dad to this happy bunch.
A new firefighter, Leslie Shay, had joined the team.

Carina was not really excited when she heard that a new firefighter was coming to the firehouse from Chicago. She was pretty and above all, she was also a lesbian.

She had come to Seattle after a painful break-up. The Italian often came to make it clear to this new recruit of station 19, that the Captain was already taken.

However, if she had been able to read between the lines, Maya was not the type of the pretty Leslie, on the other hand herself ...

Ruiz had become a lieutenant. Maya had two lieutenants in each of her two teams.

She was mainly happy about two things in life. That she was not even 25 years old at the stage she was at. Station captain. And for Carina. She was so in love with this woman. She still didn't understand how she had been so lucky, twice.

The psychologist continued her group sessions on Tuesday evenings. She combined this with her work at the hospital as a sexologist and psychologist.

What she loved most was seeing new faces at her youth sessions. Word of mouth had worked extremely well.

On Tuesday, January 29, Maya was finally free to come to one of Carina's sessions.

She had listened to young people talk about themselves, their secrets, their discomfort. About everything they were afraid to face in life.

Then Carina had asked Maya to come and speak. She was dressed as a captain.

-"Hello, my name is Maya. Maybe some of you have already heard of me. I am Carina's fiancée." The group of elders whistled and applauded at this revelation.

- "we had begun to believe that she had lied to us!" Said John, putting his hands on either side of his mouth to echo.

- "indeed I am real" she laughed. "I'm a fire captain at Station 19 in Seattle. I am a lesbian. I knew it at a very young age ... I've probably always known it for that matter. I've never dated a boy, I've never had any doubts. I had never fallen in love, though, until I met her." She had turned her gaze to Carina before continuing, "The most beautiful girl I had ever seen.

And that was the first thing I thought when I saw her for the first time, I thought 'waaaah she's beautiful' and then I thought she was probably a goddess. She was so beautiful, long curly brown hair, a look... These eyes! ... the most radiant smile I had ever seen and a tanned skin. Sublime, there was no other word, sublime" Maya had taken the words she had pronounced on a video, made on September 6, 2021, word for word. What had not escaped her fiancée. She had pronounced them with the same passion as at the time.

"and I wasn't really out yet. To my brother, who was my best friend, yes but not to my parents. But for her eyes right there, mamma Mia, I could have given anything. I could have shouted it from the roof of the world. My father wasn't especially happy at first, but he immediately saw what I saw in Carina and the way she looked at me, the way she loved me.
