Jealousy

It had been two weeks since Maya and Carina returned from their third date.

It was already Wednesday. The young people were at the shelter as usual. The girls from the base who were once Carina's friends were talking to her again. Carina could not be happier.

A girlfriend, friends, and girls who were no longer 'afraid' of her.

Maya and Carina were sitting together as always. Today they were really touchy this weekend they had not been able to see each other alone and it had been a week since they had done anything.

They were close, they were there to work, but they couldn't stop kissing.

- "Get a room!" Travis told them.

-"believe me, I'd like to, it's the only place I'd like to be" said Carina

Andrea plugged her ears: "too much information, too much information".

- "man, you're going to have to get used to the idea that your sister has a sex life," Dean tells him, laughing

- "no no no, she is cute, pure, she is a saint" he answered

-"I can't tell you if she's a saint, but she's a sex goddess," said Maya, which made the whole group laugh and her beloved blush. She was not used to Maya talking so confidently about sex. She was normally quite reserved on the subject.

-"I'll never know that happiness," Jackson added with a falsely depressed look.

- "Can we stop talking about my sex life?" Carina asked embarrassed but still flattered.

- "Yes please! And return to our duties" asked her brother

In less time than it takes to say it, Maya and Carina were kissing again.

They had forgotten about the world around them when Carina's phone rang, bringing them out of their trance. That's when they remembered that they were not alone.

Carina's screen lit up to display a message she had received. Maya's eyes rested on the screen. There was no ulterior motive, it was just a reflex.

- "Arizona?! " she asked through clenched teeth.

Carina was flushed. She didn't know if she should answer Maya or not. Or if she should open the message.

-"Is this a fucking joke? Why is Arizona writing to you? "

- "Can we please go into the kitchen? "

- "c'è un problema" asked Andrea

-"no non preoccuparti" replied Carina

- "this one I get, problema is not so different from 'problem'. "She was clearly upset.

- "Maya please, can we go talk about this calmly, just us?"

As soon as she entered the kitchen, Maya faced Carina: "May I know why she is writing to you? "

- "she... She..."

- "she... What Carina?"

- "she's coming this weekend to Sicily, and she..."

-"And she what? She wants to see you? "

- "si"

- "it's out of the question!"

-"Maya" said Carina approaching her girlfriend to take her waist. However Maya released herself from her embrace

- "no Carina, I'm not going to let you go see your ex who you're obviously chatting with!"

- "Bambina, that's not it"
