Merry Xmas

On Christmas morning everyone was up and about for breakfast.
Lucia and Katherine had prepared breakfast for the whole family.

Carina was the first of the two to be awakened. She watched Maya sleep, she found her so beautiful, so peaceful. She then pulled back a strand of her blonde hair, which was falling in her face, and replaced it behind her ear.

- "hmmmm hello there" she said in her hoarse voice

- "hello you, sorry I didn't want to wake you up. You are so beautiful, I wanted to enjoy your beautiful face"

- "hummmmm" said the firefighter, burying her face in her pillow.

- "stop, look at me, you're beautiful, this is my best Christmas present..."

-"It's true... Merry Christmas my love"

- "Merry Christmas to you"

The blonde then approached to kiss her fiancée. Two minutes after they started kissing, Ford jumped on the bed.

- "heyyy, hi there" said the blonde, running her hand through the hair on the back of his neck.

- "Hi little guy" said the Italian kissing him on the head.

They had cuddled, all three of them, before deciding to get out of bed and put on the pajamas, which they had bought especially for the occasion.

Maya, Carina and Ford were all adorable in their red and white Christmas outfits, which they had put on when they got up.

- "You guys are so cute!" Kathy said as the two young women walked out of the room.

- "matched, I'm not surprised" added Lucia "oh and look at Ford!"

The little labradoodle followed his mistresses closely, struggling with his outfit.

-"I hope you weren't dreamed of?" Katherine asked.

-"No... Carina woke me up," said Maya.

- "heyyyy!" Said she as she pushed her fiancée's shoulder.

- "dare to say otherwise?!"

- "it's her fault!"

- "how so?"

- "you are much too beautiful and much too adorable when you sleep! You only have to snore and drool and maybe, I say maybe, I won't want to watch you sleep".

-"so in fact... I would go even further... It's my parents' fault!"

- "What did I do?" Lane asked as she walked into the kitchen.

-"You did me too well," laughed Maya.

- "You're perfect, my little girl. And does anyone mind?" He asked as he draped his arm over her shoulder and kissed the top of her head.

- "obviously Carina, she can't help but wake me up"

-"I just pulled a strand of hair out of her face, it's not my fault you're a light sleeper! Besides... sleep is overrated," Carina said, wrapping her arms around Maya's waist from behind. Maya then placed her hands on her fiancée's.

-"Can I... Take Ford out?" Lane asked.

- "Yes, Dad, you can. That's why I didn't take it out."

-"Ford, come here, my little dog," said Lane.

- "Where's Dad?" Carina asked.

-"he's outside, shoveling the driveway and Andrea's car. They go to Sam's brother's house, they leave after breakfast. They fly to Idaho at 11:30."
