Maya had finally made an appointment with Diane Lewis, a former firefighter who had reconverted to trauma related to accidents and incidents with the fire department.

- "Maya, are you okay?"

- "Did you want to come to me or were you asked to come to me?"

- "Does it make a difference I'm here?"

The two women were now in their room. Carina had told the hospital that she would not be coming in today. Maya was still resting.

- "Maya what you told me earlier..."

- "which part?"

-"when you said it was hanging over your head! That I was too good for you. That you hurt me and this was my way of getting even. And that you asked me if I even liked you or if it was all a plan all along..."

-"Carina, I'm sorry, when I'm in this state, I get paranoid, my words have gone beyond my thoughts."
