Adrien, Kagami, and Felix ran out of the car the moment they arrived at the hospital. As the three of them walked up to the receptionist's desk, Adrien felt his wrist tingle. He turned around and saw Marinette running in, looking out of breath. For a moment he worried that something was happening to her and began to walk toward her, but then he heard her talk to one of the passing nurses.

"Is - uh - Is (y/n) (l/n) here?"

The nurse gestured at the receptionist's desk. That was when Marinette finally noticed Adrien standing a couple of feet away from her. The look he gave her made Adrien freeze on the spot. She looked so scared and worried. He wanted to go up to her and comfort her. But Felix had already pulled him away.

"Adrien, I -"

"He has nothing to say to you." Kagami crossed her arms as she went to stand in front of him, shielding him from his soulmate. Marinette lowered her gaze to the ground.

"I know you guys don't want to see me right now, but -"

"But nothing. Get lost." Felix glared at her as well.

Adrien noticed how Marinette twiddled her fingers and bit her bottom lip. He understands why his friends are angry - and if he's going to be honest with himself, he doesn't want to see her either - but Marinette is your friend too. She's just as worried as the rest of them. Shouldn't she also be able to see you?

"Marinette?"

All of them turned around to see a group of adults. Adrien recognized Plagg standing next to the woman from that time he bumped into them in the street. They were with some old guy and two other individuals. One had bright red hair and the other jet black with blue and purple hair dye.

"Tikki?" Marinette looked at the woman.

Juleka, Rose, and Ivan walked a couple of feet behind Luka. Their guitarist had shoved them away when they tried to help him. He could feel their concerned stares burning the back of his head. They were just waiting to catch him if he falls.

But he hasn't.

And he won't.

He may have been stifling his coughs down, and sneaking every small thyme petal into his pocket, but at least he's walking normally. He's starting to become numb to the pain. The only sort of pain he can feel at the moment is the splitting headache he's starting to get. It feels as if it's only getting stronger by the second. His eyelids were getting heavier and he felt like the world was spinning faster.

"Woah, there." He felt a pair of arms catch him. Looking up, he saw the familiar face of a customer he had yesterday. "You okay?"

"Yeah, thanks." Luka steadied himself. "Nooroo, right?"

The man's eyes widened a bit. He most likely hadn't noticed that the person he just saved from falling was the same guy that delivered him pizza. His lips lifted into a smile. "Nice to know that you remember customers' faces."

Luka smiled back, though it quickly vanished due to his coughs.

"Are you sure you're okay? I could take you to the hospital. I was just -"

"No." Luka shook his head. The loudness in his voice shocked him for a second. He even caught Juleka flinching in the corner of his eye. She's never heard him raise his voice before. Not even when she accidentally broke his guitar when they were kids. He's always been gentle and has his emotions in check.

"Okay, um, well if you ever need someone to talk to," Nooroo pulled out a card from his pocket. "Here's my card."

Luka took it and gave it a glance. It was much different than the card he got at the antique store. It even had an entirely different occupation. Nooroo Anand: Professional massage therapist. He turned it over and read the words on the back. It sorta reminded him of a fortune cookie. Your desires will come true.
