¤ 3rd Point Of View ¤

Miyuki's coming of age ceremony went by quite smoothly that day. Nothing was mentioned to her and (Y/n)'s parents about the sudden attack of the older sister's heart. (Y/n) begged her sister and Toru to keep the incident private on the terms that she immediately drink some herbal tea to ease her pain. The oldest princess didn't even plan to tell Sukuna of the incident, knowing that he would only worry about her more.

So now, as she sat at the top of their usual hill, she kept silent on the natter and instead invested her attention on a bunny that hopped it's way over to her while Sukuna watched her in silence. Sukuna could tell that the girl was hiding something from him. The man already knew that it was to do with her current health condition- he could tell by how pale she seemed today. So he didn't dare ask, knowing she would just deny it. He didn't need to ask to know the truth, he's come to be able to read (Y/n) like a book.

"How was the ceremony yesterday?" Sukuna asked, feigning interest in the girl's last night activities in order to see if she would come clean on her own. Though, he already knew she wouldn't.
"It went quite well. I think I really bonded with Miyuki yesterday, that made me very happy." The girl said softly, giving a close-eyed smile as she stroked the black and white rabbit who seemed to have fallen asleep with it's head rested on her thigh.

Sukuna hummed in response, taking into account that the incident with her heart may have actually been so bad that she would lie to him about it- and as much as he hated to admit it, that worried him because (Y/n) never lied to Sukuna. Never. It was a silent agreement between the two lovers.
"What is it with you and animals?" Sukuna then asked, changing the subject because he didn't want to get angry with the girl as she continued to lie to his face. He'd rather feign ignorance.

"I don't know." The princess giggled, letting his fingers side down the spine of the rabbit which made the animal lick her thigh at the ticklish feeling.
"I love every type of creature despite the fact that I've never met them all. I've just always been fascinated by them." The girl admitted, feeling the sides of the bunnys face where its whiskers stood out.

"I wonder what they're thinking in those little heads of theirs...I wish I could communicate with them." The girl mumbled out, not surprising Sukuna with these desires of hers. To him, if she had the slightest bit of cursed energy, he'd believe her cursed technique would be something as light-hearted as speaking with animals or healing the wounded. It matched with her pure heart.
"There are jujutsu for that, you know." Sukuna told her, knowing full well taht she had no cursed energy. He just wondered if she knew that too.

"I'm far to weak to learn any jujutsu, you know this." She told him with a soft amused huff. Sukuna nodded to himself, knowing that she couldn't see him as he stood behind her. He didn't reply to this, knowing he could not ease her mind on this matter because she was more than right. So instead he sighed and used his leg to push himself off the tree he was leaning on, walking over to the princess and sitting beside her.

It wasn't long before the rabbit sensed his presence and woke up from its blissful trance before running away from Sukuna, leaving (Y/n) behind as it hid in the trees. Sukuna almost felt bad that he wss the cause of the rabbit running away- again. But he had given the girl alot of time with the creature by staying a good few feet away from them to give them time together. But Sukuna couldn't wait all day.

(Y/n) laughed as she waved the rabbit goodbye, despite being unable to see the rabbit after how far it had ran.
"Some things never change." She giggled, reffering to the fact that the animals she meets will always be scared of Sukuna. Maybe it was the malicious aura he had around him that (Y/n) had so quickly gotten used to. Or maybe it was due to the fact he glared at the animal the moment he sat down, telling it to leave with only his eyes. With that she gave him a teasing glare, mimicking the way he usually done it- not looking nearly as threatening.
