Ch 59 : finished piece

The world was shaken by one piece of news. Printed on every front page, covered on every news, talked about by people all over the world, was a single wooden statue that suddenly appeared in the marine fort.

A statue made of wood depicting akainu stepping on the head of a celestial dragon. written below the statue was the word akatsuki. Based on the translation of a certain statue expert who happened to know the language, the word had a deeper meaning.

" Aka means red, and tsuki mean love, there was no doubt this is declaration of war from akainu to the celestial dragon!!!."

The words reached the celestial dragon in no time. Kneeling before the gorosei was a man dressed in white with the name rob lucci.

" Rob lucci at your service." (Rob lucci)

The gorosei stared at rob lucci with unimpressed look. The frown on their head deepened as they saw a stack of paper in rob lucci's hand.

" Your highness, this is the evidence that the marine had been working againts us." (Rob lucci)

He walked to the table and placed the document infront of them. They read the document carefully, their eyes widening every time they turned the page.

Back at the enies lobby, they let robin escape. The gorosei could already guessed the traitor at enies lobby. What shocked them the most was the information that there were traitors at the marine fort, and garps name was written as a suspect. Coupled with garps's resign letter it became clear that they couldn't control the marines for much longer. The statue of akainu stepping on celestial dragon would be the last prove they needed.

The gorosei threw the document to the table and discuss their next move.

" Rob lucci, tell the cp to get ready." (Gorosei)

Rob lucci bowed his head and left the room. He went to the balcony and took out a piece of letter. A black crow took the letter, and flew away.

In the middle of the ocean itachi sat on a wooden chair, playing chess with pain. There was folded news paper next to the chess board. Itachi moved his rook to defeat pain's king.

"Hn, that was fun." (Itachi)

Pain sat frozen on his chair, staring at the chess board wondering how he could lose. A crow landed on the ship's handrail holding a letter in its beak.

Itachi took the letter and read it, he nodded his head in statisfaction at the letter. With this, the marine would have their hands full dealing with the world goverment. The rest was for the revolution army to take the opportunity and join the war.

" By the way, where is obito?" (Itachi)

Pain lifted his finger while still staring at the chess board. Itachi told him to take a break and climbed to the roof, he saw tobi standing on the roof looking at the island they were heading to.

" We have been staying in this world for quite long haven't we." (Obito)

He felt something a little bit different about obito.

" Hn, is something bothering you?" (Itachi)

Obito scratched his head as he averted his eyes from itachi.

" Do you want to go home?" (Obito)

Itachi eyes's widen, surprised by obito's request.

" You know we wouldn't be able to go back here again right." (Itachi)

Obito nodded his head without hesitation. Pain listened to their conversation while playing with the wooden pawn on his hand.

The ship stopped at the beach and they went down from the ship. The memories of three guys stranded on this beach played inside their mind.

They walked into the forest and stopped infront of a small wooden house. The door creaked open as they entered the house. The wooden furniture was covered in dust, itachi went to the table and cleaned up the sasuke figurine he had made a long time ago.

Pain lay down on the bed and closed his eyes, enjoying his last sleep on this world. Obito sat on the chair, staring at the small moon made of stone that was floating at the sky.

" I will go out for a bit." (Obito)

Obito closed the door and left the house.

The day ended as the sky became dark. the starry sky loomed above obito as he sat infront of the ship. The akatsuki flag fluttering above the ship as the wind blew. He sat on the beach enjoying the view of the sclupture that were drawn on the back of the ship.

" Hn, are you going to take the ship with us?" (Itachi)

Obito shook his head, everything he made here should stay here. To him, all of this achievement belong to tobi not to him.

" I will stop running away from now." (Obito)

Obito stood up and shook the sand off his shoes. Itachi smiled as they went back to the wooden house and spent the night there.
