"You ready?" Xavier smiled at me the next day.

"No," I admitted, rocking back and forth on my heels.

Xavier took my hands in his, staring at me with a comforting smile. "They're going to love you" He brushed some of my hair out of my face.

"Besides, if anything goes wrong, I'll swoop in and whisk you away from everyone" He joked.

"Promise?" I asked, holding out my pinkie.

"To think you're the same girl who acts so tough on campus" Xavier laughed.

He locked his pinkie with mine and we both placed a kiss to our thumbs before pressing them together.

"Shut up" I muttered.

Xavier just laughed before leading me down the stairs. Two guards - one at each door - pulled open the huge front doors for us, allowing us to head outside, walking down the small flight of stairs.

I looked around my surroundings before turning around, curious to see what the Russo's family house looked like.

My head fell back, my mouth wide open as I stared at the house. No, house didn't even come close to what it was.

Was it a mansion or a hotel?

I wasn't really sure but it was massive.

I ran forward, leaning against the fence as I stared at the clear blue mini lake in front of me, a small patch of flowers was placed in the middle.

"You like it?" Xavier smirked, his arms wrapping around my waist from behind.

"It's a fucking castle" I gaped in awe, turning around.

"I wouldn't say castle,"

He rubbed his chin in thought, staring at the sky before bringing his eyes back to mine, his black hair falling in front of his sapphire eyes.

"More of a really big house"

"I still can't believe you lived here"

"Neither can I" Xavier admitted, staring back at the house. "Still kind of glad I moved out though"

"Why did you move out?" I asked.

"I felt trapped," He admitted, his gaze now fixed on the clouds in the sky.

"I decided to apply for college and I got accepted. My parents were against the idea because it would compromise my safety but I had already made up my mind and decided that I would move"

"Oh. Well, I'm glad you did. Not that I'm glad that you left your parents or anything. It's just that if you hadn't moved out I never would've met your dumbass, you know?" I rambled.
