You know, I've always thought about what it'd be like if I got kidnapped.

Well, not always because that's a rather weird thing to do but the thought crossed my mind a few times; after all, I did read a lot of mafia romance novels.

I always imagined being kidnapped by a rather hot looking mafia don, who would hate me at first but slowly fall in love with me and then we'd get married on a deserted island or something like that.

Of course I never believed that would come true; it was all fiction after all.

I always believed that if I actually got kidnapped, I'd be kept in a dark room where people would do all kinds of shit to me.

I would also probably be starved or tortured or even both and would eventually die because no one would be able to save me or pay my ransom.

I never actually thought I'd get kidnapped, from a car with Wyatt and his brothers, by some complete strangers who hadn't laid a finger on me.

But that's life for you, you never know what might happen.

"Are you there? It's your turn" Nori laughed, pulling me out of my thoughts as she wiggled her cards in her hands.

Did I also mention that I've been here for the past two days, sharing a pretty decent room with another one of the girls the psychos kidnapped?

Oh, and they also treated my wounds and gave me a much more comfortable outfit to wear, rather than the tight dress I had been wearing.

Weird. I know.

I was very thankful for Nori. She was a small, Japanese girl who had dark brown, practically black hair flowing all the way down her back.

Her eyes were a beautiful shade of brown, just a bit lighter than mine and her skin was as white as snow, nothing like my olive skin tone.

She had a lot of tattoos and she looked rather badass, if I do say so myself. I was kind of scared of her at first but I got to know her and realized that she's a really nice person.

"I'm sure your boyfriend misses you very much" She smiled as I placed a card on the floor.

I felt a blush creeping up my neck at the mention of Xavier. Over the past two days, I had been telling Nori a lot about Xavier.

Every moment and chance that I got, I found my thoughts lingering towards him.

I often wondered what he was up to.

If he was eating properly. If Miles and Jordan were giving him a hard time or if he was reading any of the books he had asked to borrow from me.

After the first day of not being with him, I made a realization.
