"He has such a pretty name," I said, honestly.

I munched on a fry before a frown appeared on my face.

"He doesn't deserve it though"

"You really are a child, aren't you?" Mila asked, staring at me and I shrugged.

She laughed as she took another bite of her salad and I stuck my tongue out at her.

"I really hate you for making me embarrass myself like that" I mumbled, scarfing down more fries.

"That's not the point. You're telling me that you really don't know who Xavier Russo is?"

How the fuck am I supposed to know who he is?

I literally don't talk to anyone apart from her at this school, or did she forget that?

She probably did.

And she says I'm the one who forgets shit easily.

I finished chewing the fries before I crouched down in front of her.

I grabbed her face with both my hands and closed the space between us. We were so close that our noses were touching.

"Mila Laurie Lavigne" I looked directly into her eyes as I spoke. "I am telling you that I really don't know who Xavier Russo is"

She started laughing, despite her face flaming up, as she pushed me away causing me to start laughing as well.

"You're such a weirdo. And by the way, your breath smells like ketchup."

I couldn't help but smile.

It was a beautiful day out. The sun was shining. Birds were chirping. It wasn't hot but it wasn't cold either and the occasional breezes just made everything perfect.

The best part was that I was sitting on the field, where I always ate lunch with my best friend and I had one more course for the day.

Just me knowing I had one more class left for the day, made everything 10x better.

"What's wrong with ketchup?" I asked as I bit on a chicken wing, looking up at the sky.

"Nothing I guess," She answered, looking up as well.

"Mila..."

"Yeah?"

"Tell me who he is already" I groaned as I laid flat on the grass.

"Oh, you actually want to know?"

"Yeah, that's why I asked. Like fifteen times" I rolled my eyes as I turned my head, looking over at her.

"It wasn't up to fifteen"

"Mila..."

She looked down at her fingers, playing with them as she furrowed her brows in thought.

"Well, I don't actually know that much about him myself," She admitted. "What I do know though, is that he is bad news."

My eyes met hers and I noticed a small smile appear on her face.

She thinks she's so smart.

"If you're waiting for me to ask you to explain what you mean then forget it." I said and she locked eyes with me.

"But... if I end up ever getting hurt because of Xavier..."

I rolled my eyes as I said his name.
