Chapter 17- Robyn

"Hey" Connor smiled spotting Robyn coming out of elevator.
"How are you?"
"Good, I was just up seeing my dad. I think I'm going to stay a here a bit while we get things sorted out with my mum" Robyn sighed.
"You want to get a coffee" she asked suddenly.
"Yeah"
They walk out to the cart outside the hospital together. Robyn and Connor get their identical drinks and walk together.
"I heard what happened with Lankin from one of the nurses, he really reported you to the oversight committee"
"Yep" Connor nodded into the cold, sipping his drink.
"Asshole" Robyn muttered and Connor chuckled.

"Enough about him, what are you going to do now since your staying here for longer. Are you going to apply for a job at med again or east mercy?"
"I'm actually still working for my company in Minneapolis, just remotely"
"Corporate life, still can't imagine you working outside of a hospital. What's that life like?"
"Calm" Robyn laughed.
"What about you, your staying at med?"
"Yeah, it's the best opportunity out their for me right now" Connor told her.
Robyn nodded Knowingly, "you want to come over to my place tonight?"
Connor and Robyn stopped by the hospital entrance together.
"Sorry I have loads of paper work for upcoming surgeries to do"
"It's okey" Robyn shook her head, brushing some water droplets off the shoulder of Connors jacket. Her hand make its way to his chest as she leaned in.
"I had fun the other night" she whispered into his ear. Robyn tilted her head and kissed him, Connor took her cheek in his hand.
"I know" he smiled down to her. Robyn patted his chest before strolling back into the hospital.

A/n: two chapters since this was a small one, I was considering sticking it in at the end of the last chapter but I couldn't get it to fit naturally.
