Alright, so this story is clearly developing very intensely, very fast.
But that is just how it is in my head.

CHAPTER NINE
When they arrived back at the keep, it was already lunchtime. They knew they still had quite much left to do after, as they both arrived sweaty and dirty from being on the grasslands seeing Vhagar. Only Alicent was in the dining hall, sitting alone eating. Upon seeing the pair arrived together, she stood up quickly with a big smile on her face.
"You two look like you've been very busy." She says, or more, asks as she reaches over to kiss the cheek of her niece who just seconds ago had arrived hand in hand with her son.
"Yes, mother. The day has been quite hectic." Aemond answers as he too kisses his Alicent, only on the forehead.
"We went to see Vhagar." Vis says, a big smile on her face probably still excited about being able to see the magnificent beats. "Yes, I could tell." Alicent adds.
"Do not make a habit out of going every day, please. The Sers are quite tired of the bucket carrying." Alicent adds.
"I'm sure they will be fine, Mother." Aemond admits as he drags out the chair next to Alicent for Vis to sit down in.
"Thank you." A short answer coming from Vis as she sits down. "Wine, darling?" Alicent asks as she is about to reach for the pitcher.
"Not bloody likely." Aemond burst out. "I think your cousin can easily decide that for herself. Can she not, son?" Alicent gives him a judging glare.
"It's fine, your grace. I drank too much last night, and if I start by lunch, I will not be functioning by dinner." Vis insists.
Alicent watches them both as they grab whatever food they desire on their plates.
"So I've talked to your grandfather, the hand today, Aemond." Alicent starts, looking over at her son, who is separated by Vis in-between them.
"He came up with a very clever suggestion, and seeing how well you two work together, I must say I heartily agree on the suggestion." Alicent continues. Vis stops eating, barely chewing her food. Aemond takes a swig of the cup of water he had just poured himself.
"One day, mother. It's been one day." Aemond sighs heavily. "One day for what?" Vis asks, looking towards Aemond who just raises his brows.
"What do you think?" He blurts out.
Vis shakes her head, obviously clueless about what they are discussing. Alicent sits back into her seat as she takes a sip of her wine.
"My father is a wise man. He thinks it's a good match. I agree, Aemond." Alicent continues, ignoring Vis' eyes, clearly searching for answers.
"So do I, but I was gonna wait for at least a couple of weeks before suggesting it!" Aemond snaps out.
"They want to marry us. And they were barely able to wait a day before deciding it.
Vis let's out a sigh in relief. "I thought someone was dying or something." She let's out a small chuckle. The queen mother was a bit surprised over her nieces reaction.
"Have something magical happened, or have you two just out of nowhere clicked very well?" Alicent is not sure what to think of this.
"No, mother, it is simply a result of equality and mutual respect. You should try it!" He gives his mother a sarcastic smile as he keeps on eating. "Aemond!" Vis half yells half whispers to him.
Alicent is not surprised by her son's behavior. She has seen it all before, but this time it took no time at all, and the girl isn't 16 years his senior.
"Well, I will find Father and tell him you both agree, yes?" Alicent asks as she stands up from her seat.
Both Aemond and Vis nod as they don't want to stop eating, as truth be told, they were still in a bit of a hurry.
"I see you both for dinner, please bathe. You both reek of dragon." Alicent adds as she leaves the dining hall.
"Sick of carrying buckets, you say." Aemond looks over at cousin, Vis looking back, not sure what to make out of his expression.
"She just told us not to visit the dragons because they are sick of carrying buckets. So now, we shall carry them ourselves. Well, at least four of them. Then we cut the work in half by bathing together. Yes?" Aemond has the biggest most childish grin on his face.
"My tub is quite small, though." Vis says, sighing. "I have a much bigger one, so problem solved?"
"Agreed." Vis nods, not even thinking about it as it is just a bath and not the end of the world.
"We should just do it right away as your next and last thing to do is to meet with the seamstresses, yes?" Vis just nods as her mouth is full of food. Aemond gets up from his chair and disappears out of the hall. When he finally returns, he has been gone so long that she managed to finish her fish.
"Where did you go?" She asks, looking over at him as he sits down next to her again. "Asked my chamber guy to ready my tub, of course." He nudges his elbow in Vis, leaving her in a giggle.
