CHAPTER THIRTYFOUR

Its is starting to become extremely uncomfortable for Vis to stay in her seat, and Aegon is starting to get on her nerves. When they finally get over water she is honestly very tempted to grab the rains and try and have him dumped off the dragon.

He is terribly fiddly behind her, reaching behind him into his pouch and Vis can hear the sound of his drinking pouch behind her. She can not believe that Aegon fucking Targaryen has managed to kidnap her half drunk just with a dagger that Aemond would call a steak knife if he had the chance to.

"Do you have water packed into that pouch of yours or is it only bad Westerosi wine?" She snaps at him as she looks behind her when he takes a swig from his pouch. He just glances at her, without saying a thing. Great. Silent treatment is better than him whispering disgusting words in her ear or touching her like the pig he is.

When another hour in pain has passed by it is enough for her. She quickly starts pushing him back and away from her with her elbows, throwing her leg over across the saddle. When he sees what she is doing he grabs a hold of her shoulders almost like he believes that she is gonna jump to her death.

"I'm sorry, is my 6 MOONS pregnant body bothering you, my king?" She spits at him as she tries and shake his hands off her as she adjust her seat her feet hanging on the left side of the saddle.

She has to lean against him now, but at least the aching pain is slowly disappearing.

When Vis suddenly shoots her eyes open she hasn't realized that she had fallen asleep. When in crisis you obviously were way less picky on where you slept, so leaning against you rapist cousin was probably not the worst she could do. She has no idea how long they've been flying, but the sun has gone down and it is almost dark. She keeps turning her head to look behind them to see if there happens to be another dragon but Vermax following.

"Why could I not fly alone?" She looks at Aegon who raises a brow as if she is stupid to even ask.

"Because you would not be trusted to follow and then I would have to do this all over again." He chuckles sarcastically.

"As if you would be able to get away with kidnapping me a second time?" She huffs. Aegon shifts in his seat behind her, looking down from the top of his dragon.

"Look down." She looks down, barely able to see around a dusing ships floating outside of what must be the start of the Kings Bay.

"Too bad it's dark, then you would have seen all the scorpions I've set up along the route back home. He won't get passed those." When Vis hears him say that her chest immediately starts burning.

"If you shoot down Vhagar, Aemond will most likely perish in the fall." She mumbles, her breathing getting quicker as she can feel the panic attack follow behind.

"That's sort of the point."

Vis can feel her breath quicken as panic is starting to devour her. She can't seem to stay still, and at one point she is almost slipping of the saddle. But Aegon wraps his arm around her waist, letting his hand rest on her bump.

As they are getting further into the bay she can see all the ships on the water. It has to be at least 30 ships that they have passed by now. Their whole fleet were burned when Daemon tried to destroy the city, so this sight meeting her means that he has been planning this for the entirety of the 8 moons they've been in Volantis.

When land is finally visible in the darkness she feels a relief. Mostly because she is in so much pain and that she knows that they will be landing soon.

The second Sunfyre set then down onto the ground and he gets off from the saddle behind her, she tries to go for a escape on the opposite side. But Aegon who has been paying attention to her grabs her arm before she is even properly dismounted.

"You will not try anything!" His voice slightly raised. There is no people but a carriage driven by a lonely man to greet them at the pit. Maybe he has done all this in secret of his hand and the council and he doesn't want to get caught having stolen the princess away from her husband.

Whatever the reason is, she is just truly happy to put her feet down on the ground. Having not eaten or drank anything since they took off from Volantis many hours ago, has also made her weak and vulnerable. The sudden change in the lack of movement under her is making her dissy. She can barely keep herself standing once she takes a step away from Sunfyre, and the last thing she sees before fainting is the pretty pink colors of the dragons wings.

When Vis had fainted, Aegon had been quick to catch her and the man who had arrived with their carriage had helped him carry her into it before they got driven to the keep. There she was snuck in from the back side of the castle, not risking being seen by any of the guards who might have the slightest specs of loyalty left towards his brother.

With the help of his carriage driver they had carried her into the castle and straight to her old chambers, putting her down on the bed and just left her be after checking that she was breathing properly. The last thing he needed was this trip to be in vain and the result being her perish the second they got to the capital.

He had after making sure everything was okay found one of his loyal guards and told them to have Vermax caught so they had clear skies for when his brother should show up.

Aemond had wasted no time to get to Vhagar to follow his wife's kidnapper. He had not taken his time to collect any food or drink for the ride.

He knew however that because Vhagar had gotten even slower in her speed the last moons. They would never be able to catch up on the speed that Sunfyre had unless they stopped on their way back to Kings Landing. Aemond knew very well that his brother would not risk that, and that upped his concern for his wife who definitely was not in shape to be riding on dragonaback for that long.

It had gotten dark really fast, and the little light he had in the sky was provided from the moon peaking through the clouds. At least he wasn't flying into a storm. That could end in catastrophy.

The brothers after reading that this story is developing into more of a half Aemond and half Aegon love feud: "Is this fucking play about us?"
