I'm sorry for the late update. I'm not in the best shape at the moment, so it's hard to focus on the writing.

CHAPTER SIXTYFIVE
Even though Aemond and Vis had fallen asleep quite late after their night activities, Vis had been the last one to find slumber, and that was after she had downed the milk syrup from the jar.
It was, therefore, no surprise that she was almost indisturbable when the morning came and the first maid entered the chambers.
Aemond had noticed the completely empty jar that had contained the milk of the poppy, and he had let out a loud sigh in frustration. He knew that his method had been unsuccessful that way.
The maid had entered the room twice with trays containing their breakfast, and she even went as far as informing the Prince that they had gotten fresh fruit from the market for the queen as the castle was completely out and a ship had arrived just this morning with all sorts of supplies and a blessed harvest from Essos.
Aemond had several times tried to wake his wife with sweet, soft kisses, but she was not even bothered by his tender behavior. He had to check her breathing several times as even though he knew she was alive, it just made him feel a bit extra certain to know that she was getting air.
He eventually gave up, and curiosity found him when he saw her diary in her bedside table. He knew it would be a violation of her privacy to read it, but he was most interested in any entries that included the days, weeks, and months after his death.
So he got up from the bed, rounded the structure, and picked up the diary on the table. At first, he was reluctant to even open it. But once he had, he quickly found the entry for the week after he had died. He spent almost an hour reading the entries over and over, and it didn't leave him surprised to know that she had really been struggling with coping his death, their sons death, and becoming queen all in a short year.
When he found the first entries about her writing about her relationship with Aegon, he finally closed the book, now realizing he had gone too far. He could not blame her for how she chose to live her life when he was not a part of it, but he was certainly not going to read about their intimacy, that was for sure. He put the book back on the table just after that and then placed himself down on the mattress by her side on the bed.
"Vis, my love. Wake up." He gently shook her shoulder to try and pull her from her slumber. It was already late in the morning, and she could not sleep all day if they were going to be able to do everything they had planned to do for the day.
Vis felt herself being pulled from her sleep by a light shake on her shoulders and the voice of her lover. "Mm, what?" She mumbled as she turned over, her back now facing him.
Aemond stood up, crawled over her, and laid himself down beside her, now facing her. He placed soft kisses on her jawline to keep her from falling asleep again.
"We have to get up, my sun and stars." He whispered.
"Yes, I know." She opened her eyes now, the light piercing her eyes like needles at first, causing her to groan loudly.
When she started to feel more awake, she looked up at Aemond face, and he was just smiling to her. "Good morning."
"Good morning."
"How are you feeling?"
"I feel fine, I'm just tired." She answered.
Vis gets up from the bed, collects her nightdress, and puts it on before she puts on her night robe.
