CHAPTER SIXTYFOUR

Visenyas dream:
It had been a rough night for them both. Even though Vis had fallen asleep quite quickly, she had been doomed with cruel dreams from the start of her slumber.

When she woke up from the night terror she had taunting her dreams, she did so in a gasp, screaming from the top of her lungs.

She had dreamt that they were at war, and she witnessed her husband being taken down on dragonback.

Waking up alone in the bed and alone in the room did not make it any easier. At that point, she was so confused and so stressed that she thought she had dreamt the whole scenario where she had flown to Castle Black and Aemond had returned.

But she was hysterically crying, gasping for air as she looked all around the room for her love. But he was not there.

In full panic, she had stumbled herself out of the bed and out in the hall in just her night dress.

Her knights must have not thought it important to be outside her chambers because when she called for Rhae and Lana, they were nowhere to be found.

On top of that, the halls were pitch dark, and when she had started moving, she felt that she was slowly becoming more and more wet between her thighs.

When she looked down on her night dress, she saw that it was covered in blood, so much blood. It reminded her instantly of that day when she gave birth to her still born son and of how the cotton dress was completely drenched.

Her whole body was shaking, and she reached down to touch the dress, feeling the cold, wet blood against her hand. Out of nowhere, there were now steps coming from behind her, and when she turned around, she saw a man standing in the hall.

His physical appearance resembled that off Aemond, but his skin was grey, his face covered in wounds, and bones were sticking out from his neck. The only thing she could do was stand there, frozen in her spot from fear.

Her body shook more and more, and she was drenched in sweat, blood, and tears. And when she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder, she was pulled back and fell at a pace that felt like the slowest she had ever moved. She screamed from the top of her lungs, and when she felt the pain hit the back of her head, she was pulled out of consciousness.

End of her dream.

Aemond had shook her so hard he thought he wouldn't be able to get her awake. She had started mumbling in her sleep a while ago, and he had woken up when she started twitching in the bed.

When she had started to become really physical, almost moving to get up from the bed, but he was still unable to get any contact with her, he knew she was having a bad lucid dream. He had to hold her down at some point, and she had been mumbling under her breath, twitching, muscle spasms, and she was occasionally gasping for air.

He finally had enough when he sat up and grabbed her shoulders, pulled her between his legs, and started smacking her cheek to get her awake.

He attempted to wake her for a little while longer, and when she finally did open her eyes, she had gasped for air, sat up and away from him.

The first reaction she had was fear, as she was not aware she was awake yet. She had crawled quickly to the bottom edge of the bed, pulled herself together, and taken a defense position away from what she thought was after her. She was blinded by the dark, and when she heard movement, she screamed, pulling away from the touch on her right wrist.

"Vis, you're having a nightmare!" Aemond had forced himself closer to her, and he really had to fight her as she was trying to push him away, hitting him with closed fists.
