CHAPTER SIXTYTWO

There was a really loud sound that woke up Vis that morning, and when she sat up, wiping the sleep out of her eyes, she saw Jace enter the tent. She let out a heavy sigh as she listened for the sound coming from outside. It was a lot of clacking of metal and men shouting. She let her eyes wander to her side, where Aemond was still asleep next to her.

"We have already packed up almost half the camp." Jace walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed on the side where she was on.

"Aegon left already on Sun, and so did father on Smoke. He wanted to get back to Aemma now that peace is a fact." He reached up and brushed her hair away from her face as she nodded.

"And there are wildlings on the King Road, about 300 of them."

"Then set up a convoy of men who know the north and have them escort the wildling group to the bay. And uhh.. I think Lord Guro should be in charge if he agrees to it." Jace nods, letting his gaze fall to Aemond, who is still peacefully in bed next to his lover.

"You alright? I imagine it must be hard to see me -"

"No, I'm fine. We talked yesterday, so I understand more now, and whatever you chose, I will support you." Jace lifted his hand and placed it on her cheek, his thumb brushing over her skin.

"I.. I got my blood last night. But... I bled a lot during the beginning of my pregnancy with Viserion, so that doesn't mean that I'm not with a child." Jace let's out a heavy sigh, nodding, then he leans in and places a soft kiss to her forehead.

"You should fly home, take Aemond with you. Me and Daemon will ride on horseback to Winterfell and stay there for a while until we have successfully helped getting them started by the Three Sisters Bay."

"I don't want to leave you, Jace." She shuffled herself closer to him, wrapped her arms around his neck, and pulled him onto a hug. He just stroked her back, letting out a quiet chuckle.

"I think you have to find out what you want to do when it comes to me and him, darling. And I'm your lord in waiting, so it is my job to be there in your place. And if you're with child, I don't want you in the winter cold. It would make me feel a lot better if I knew you were safe back in Kings Landing."

Aemond was heard behind them letting out a soft groan, probably waking up from the sound of them talking. Vis pulled away from the hug and quickly pressed a kiss on Jaces' lips.

"I will set up a council group of the finest architects and city builders then. And send them up to the camp by the Bay."

Vis looked over at Aemond, who was now sitting up beside her.

"Good morning." He mumbled as he wiped his eyes, his glance first landing on Jace beside her, then on Vis, who was just smiling back to him.

"Good morning." Jace nodded as he got up from the mattress.

"Half of the camp is already packed. Your brother and my father left on dragonback already, and I just told Vis that I think the two of you should fly back home to Kings Landing."

Aemond nodded, looking over at Vis, who was switching from looking between him and Jace.

"I agree, and once you're safe back in Kings Landing, I will fly to Volantis and bring back the woman who gave me life. I need you to meet Lyara. It is better that you'll hear the prophecy from her. I'm shit at explaining, and frankly, I think it's better that"

"You will not leave her alone in Kings Landing with Aegon." Jace interrupted him when he had suggested leaving her.

"Alright, then I'll take her with me then?" He suggested, reaching up to scratch his head slightly.
