(Hey guys sorry I took so long! Been working on assignments for uni! But now I'm free for a week!!! So I'll be spending more time writing, hopefully!!

I really hope you've been enjoying the story so far, I've been working on these chapters plans for ages and I was so excited to finally pull Miyuki into the story. I have so many plans and mysteries for you all to solve, so this ought to be fun!! Some of you have really been thinking about all this and it's really impressive to see you take guesses and talk about them.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the support! Hope you enjoy what's to come, including this new chapter)

After I woke up, the first emotion I felt was dread.

Purple had seen me completely break down.

It wasn't that I was ashamed of crying. Everyone has moments of distress and everyone cries. But I did feel ashamed that I cried in front of him.

As I have expressed many times before, I really did not wish for either tallest to see me vulnerable. Though they had been much nicer to me, I still wasn't exactly comfortable enough to be that open around them. I owe them a great deal but that doesn't mean I feel entirely secure with them.

Still, I was more interested in where Purple had disappeared to. And Red, for that matter.

In fact, both tallest seemed to be missing, for some strange reason. For every room I checked, I wound up more concerned and alone. Neither tallest were anywhere to be found.

Sure this was a decently sized ship, but it's not THAT big.

"Red?!" I called out, "Purple!?"

No answer.

"Guys!?" I called out, still wandering around aimlessly hoping that one of them would respond eventually.

It was quiet.

Too quiet.

If grown accustomed to their complaining, their silly conversations. Their voices.

It was a constant sound that oftrn annoyed me half to death. And now I was missing it, because it's totally silent. And that was terrifying.

"Red, Purple?"

I turned a corner, only to be met with the most horrific sight.

A large hulking machine, a control brain. It was slightly smaller than the others but much scarier by comparison. It definetly wasn't any of the control brains I had seen before, as it's eyes were a glowing green and held a different shape. Furthermore, it appeared to have a sleeker design and sharper edges than the egg shaped contraptions I was used to. It was also a dark grey colour, a complete contrast to the original brains. Not only that, but It was deadly silent, staring at me with several scary eyes and not moving an inch.

I took a step back.

It moved forward.

I stepped back again.

It moved forward.

For every single step I took, it persued with its own.

I could feel my breath shake, my heart stop, and oxygen became harder to inhale.

I kept backing away, hoping that I was able to get through a door that the control brain was unable to follow through. Instead, however, I bumped into somebody.

Two somebodies.

The very Irkens I had been searching for.

Except....

"Guys?" I turned around.

"Yes, my human." They spoke in perfect unison and saluted, much like how Fletch had spoken to me before this whole mess.

It put me on edge.

"What's going on?"

They didn't respond this time, walking away as if I hadn't been speaking to them seconds prior. Their silhouettes faded into nothingness and I was stuck wondering what any of this meant.

I decided to look for answers in a different place.

When I turned back to the large machine, it was very close. So close that I ended up leaping far away out of shock and fear. I was sure my yelp was embarrassingly high when this happened but I was too consumed by anxiety to care.

The control brain was completely unphased. It didn't appear hostile at all. Still, I refused to take chances, keeping as far away as I could seemed like the smart thing to do. After all, I know what these things are capable of.

Finally, the brain spoke.

"You're next."

Their voice was glitchy, static-like. Their was a sembalance of familiarity in it and yet was so foreign that I couldn't put it together. But more than anything, I was so scared by their words.

"Next for what?"

Like with Red and Purple, the control brain didn't respond. But their eyes flickered, like when the control brains would silently converse with one another.  It was creepy and unsettling.

What was I next for?!?!

I didn't get to ask anymore questions. I was too busy waking up, finding myself shooting from my original position.

I wasted no time standing and quickly running around the ship like a headless chicken.

One of the first places I entered was the pilots cockpit, where Red and Purple had seated themselves. Neither were talking to eachother, which was kind of unsettling, but it was clear they were the real Red and Purple.

How did I know? They were both huffing like children.

Did I miss something?

They both seemed angry at eachother, particularly Purple. He was sending looks that I'm sure would've killed Red had looks been able to kill.

But as concerned as I was for this situation, I was still very shaken up by my dream.

You're next. Was it a threat? A warning? I couldn't tell.

Or maybe it was just a dream that didn't mean anything. Probably.

I mean, the control brains have had a very severe affect on me. It would make sense that Id have a nightmare over them.

Still, I wanted to be cautious just in case.

"What's going on, guys?" I questioned, eagerly attempting to take my mind of the disturbing dream.

Purple stopped glaring at Red, instead opting to hide and turn away.

He clearly didn't want to talk about it.

New plan then.

"Red, let's talk." I spoke, grabbing the irken by the arm and pulling him out of the room before he could protest.

"Hey!" He yelled, still half processing the situation he had unwillingly gotten himself into.

"Don't be such a smeet! We need to talk."
