(Woaahhhh whose this, back from the dead?
It is I, Oracle! I have been revived and am now ready to bring you a whole new chapter of "Alien A**holes!"
Sorry for taking so long!)
The colour on my face had drained at the sight of the alien at the back of the room. He seemed unaware of my entrance as he rocked back and forth in his place on the couch, fiddling with the TV remote.
I used this to my advantage, stepping back in a slower speed than when I entered, reaching for the door handle as soon as my back was met with the solid wall.
I traced my fingers over the frame, feeling for the knob and keeping my sights set on the figure. All whilst doing this, I tried to remain silent and not draw attention from the irken.
"Oh, Human." He spoke, turning his focus off the remote and looking at me.
He raised a nonexistent brow in question at my position. Which was fair enough.
I had frozen with my back pressed up against the wall, elbow stretched across it and the lower half of my arm resting against the edge in search of the knob.
"What are you doing there?" He questioned, clearly convinced I was a fumbling idiot.
He didnt move after that and it only worried me. His focus was dead set on me and remained so still that he may aswell be carved from stone.
My breath hitched, unsure of whether or not I should move. Or even if I should just swing the door open and book it.
But I didnt.
I just did what I always do.
I sass the guy who's making me uncomfortable.
"Entering MY room. What are you doing here?" I responded with half-lidded eyes and a snarky tone.
The room went silent all of a sudden, taking a long moment to just build the conversation up again. Not that it was really a conversation.
Purple was less than appreciative about the attitude and made that well known when he flicked his tongue at me and crossed his arms over his chest in childlike nature. To top it off, he released a grouchy huff and turned to walk back to the couch he was sitting on.
"I can do what I want. I dont need to explain my actions to you!" He claimed, stubbornly throwing himself into the seat.
As much as I was aware it was my fault for sassing him, unprompted, I couldnt help but find amusement in his moody actions.
I stepped further into the room, standing beside the couch.
"So why are you here, Purple?" I asked, folding my arms in the same way he had moments before.
"That's my tallest to you!" He quickly rebuked, sitting upright and pointing a finger in my direction.
My lips twisted into a smirk and I rolled my eyes. No matter how obnoxious he was, it was rather amusing to see him act like a child.
I took a seat beside him.
"You arent my leader. I think it's fair to say I can call you what I like."
Purple only huffed again, glaring at the floor and his back slid down the back of the sofa, clearly still as exhausted as earlier.
"I was just taking a break but then I saw your room and grew curious." He confessed, avoiding eye contact with me at all costs.
Even as I leaned forward to get a better look at his face, he would turn away even further to make sure I never got a glimpse.
Eventually my gaze returned when I relaxed back into the couch, placing my hands next to me and leaning my head back against it. I released a silent breath gradually becoming more and more content where I sat.
