(Sorry this took so long everybody. I have been pretty busy and unmotivated as of late. I'm super grateful to you guys for being so patient.

Hope you like this chapter, I had writers block for ages whilst writing it)

The three of us sat in the cockpit with annoyed expressions and snacks scattered around us. In attempts to get everyone to calm down, I suggested we all sit and do something relaxing and productive until Red and Purple were ready to have a civil conversation.

Apparently eating was their coping mechanism.

To be fair, who doesn't like stuffing their face with junk food?

"You guys ready to talk about this?" I questioned, not lifting my gaze from the window as I steered the Avian gradually through a slow, drifting field of meteors. It seemed fairly simple and straightforward, though I was still slightly on edge with the tension in the back of the cockpit.

(That's what she said)

The two leaders had been scowling at eachother for about fifteen minutes now, both too stubborn to let up or communicate. Which I began to realize may be the reason they didn't actually work out. They ranted to me about eachother but never said it to one another's faces, which was a bit of an issue considering the implications of such.

"Okayyy. Cool" I responded to the silence, realising there wasn't going to be much input from either irken.

Man, I wish Spunk were here. He'd be such great support in situations like this. Not to mention, he'd be so proud of my steady flying.

I grinned to myself, gently easing my hold on the steering to straighten up as we passed more meteors.

Well....until.

BOOM!

There was a large sound coming from the back of the ship. Something had hit us.

It was a large explosive tremmor that angrily threw of the ships position, sending it into a large meteor beside us. No matter how hard I tried to get us back on course, the ship was to disrupted by the force to recover fast enough. We were going to be briefly stranded on this meteor whether we liked it or not.

"No, no, no, no, no" I repeated to myself, as a small auto repair screen began to buffer with a little irken emoji poking out its tongue with a thumbs up. Would've loved it in any other situation but it really wasn't the time.

Especially when I realised what had hit us.

"Oh no." Gasped Purple, backing away from the monitors that showed our attacker.

Or attackers.

The same robotic monsters who we fought on Gorvastous. It seems that they had recovered from our shockwave and found us way faster than I thought. How did they do that!?

"They found us so fast" Red breathed out, clearly asking the same question I was.

Both Irkens looked extremely anxious, antennae dropped and hands trembling.

"What do we do?" I ask, watching the robots line up along a meteor and firing up weapons and preparing to shoot.

My thoughts were scattered and multiplying simultaneously, attempting to find a way out of this mess. Still, I was quickly looking around to find a solution with the resources and materials surrounding us.

Red had come to a conclusion faster than me, however, pushing purple into a side pod where the weaponry was located. The other irken was protesting and attempting to argue throughout the entire interaction but was soon muffled by Red slamming the door shut tight.
