3rd person's pov:

"Nemi" I called from the kitchen

"Yes birdbrain?"

"Nemi, can you teach me how to make ohagi"

"Ohagi? Yea sure. But why though? I can make it for you if you want to eat it"

"No, its fine, I wanna learn how to make it so I can make it on your birthday"

The white haired boy clicked his tongue. He came into the kitchen and hugged giyuu from behind, ruffling his hair and breathing in the salty ocean scent.

"Tsk, you're too fucking adorable, I swear"

Giyuu chuckled, he turned around and hugged sanemi, snuggling into his chest.

"Your 26th birthday is coming soon. I want to learn how to make ohagis for you"

"Okay birdbrain. You should learn from the expert"

"You're not an expert tho" giyuu challenged.

"Then you should learn from your master~" sanemi whispered into giyuu's ear. Sanemi's raspy voice sent chills down the brunette's spine.

"You bastard.." giyuu sighed, smacking sanemi's head.

The latter grinned, satisfied with teasing giyuu. He put on his apron and washed his hands with soap (rmb to wash your hands before cooking/ eating ppl)

They started the process of making the ohagi. Sanemi first taught giyuu how to make the red bean coating. The used 250g of washed adzuki beans and covered the beans with water (the amount of water they used is 4-5 times the amount of beans). They transferred the beans to a large pot and started to boil the water. Once the water was boiling, they discarded the water and rinsed the beans with clean water. After draining the excess water, they brought the beans to a boil, turned down the heat and let it simmer for 20-30 minute.

"Wait why do we have to boil it twice?" The water hashira asked.

"The first time we boiled it was to remove the impurities in the beans"

"Ohhhh, I see. I should do the same for you as well"

"What?" Sanemi turned his head to look at his lover. Giyuu said nothing, he simply smiled at sanemi before turning around to grab a pot of glutinous rice.

"Do we cook the rice now?"

Sanemi stared at giyuu and scoffed. Giyuu has been getting bolder recently.

"Yea, dumbass. Wash the rice first before cooking it"

Giyuu followed sanemi's instructions. As the rice and beans were cooking, the two cleaned the kitchen, well attempted to clean the kitchen since giyuu was splashing water on sanemi. Sanemi retaliated and soon, a water fight ensued. By the time the beans were about to finish cooking, the floor was a waterslide. Sanemi and giyuu laughed at the mess they had made and proceeded to wipe the wet floor.

"Nemi, the beans are done cooking"

"Ah okay, get the wooden spoon and start pounding the beans"

"Like this?"

"No harder. Pound harder like how I pound you last night" sanemi teased.

Giyuu gasped, horrified by the amount of dirt in his lover's mind.

"Nemi!" Giyuu exclaimed, smacking sanemi on the head with the wooden spoon. Sanemi yelped in surprise, he rubbed his forehead and laughed, hugged his pouting lover from behind. Sanemi took a wooden spoon and helped giyuu smash the beans to a smooth paste. After the beans were smashed into a fine paste, they started working on the rice. They started the process '半殺し' ('hangoroshi', the process in which the rice is partially pounded. Hangoroshi literally means half-kill btw). The sound of the wooden spoon pounding the rice, and sanemi's dirty remarks which were followed by the sound of giyuu smacking sanemi's head with a wooden spoon filled the house. Laughter can be heard from the kitchen and as giyuu and sanemi often got sidetracked and started play fighting with the wooden spoons. Of course some of the wooden spoon were broken by sanemi because he used too much strength, earning a glare and a hard smack to the head that was carried out by giyuu. 

Once the ingredients for the ohagi were ready, they started making rolling the rice into a ball and coated the rice in a red bean paste. When they were finally finished, 10 ohagis were formed. 5 perfectly formed ones from sanemi, and 5 deformed ones from giyuu. Sanemi teased giyuu's deformed ohagis, it was amusing since sanemi had taught giyuu step by step but he still managed to mess it up. Giyuu pouted, turning away from sanemi and started washing the dishes.

"Ahahha, sorry babe"

"Hmph"

Sanemi walked up to giyuu and kissed his forehead. He ruffles his lover's long hair and started cleaning the kitchen. Sanemi was wiping the counters and cleaning the floor while giyuu was washing the dishes. They stayed silent, enjoying each other's presence while they focused on cleaning the kitchen.

"Nemi"

"Yea?"

"Thanks for teaching me how to make ohagi. I had fun today"

"Welcome yuu" sanemi replied, smiling.

"Giyuu, You done cleaning?"

"Yea"

"You wanna go to the living room and chill?"

"Sure"

Footsteps could be heard in the corridors as the two love birds walked to Thier living room. Sanemi held a small tray, on top of the tray was a simple Japanese plate with Thier homemade ohagis and 2 tea cups filled to the brim with pipping hot green tea. Sanemi placed the tray on the coffee table and sat down on the couch.
As sanemi surffed through Netflix, searching for an anime to watch, giyuu hugged his toy shark and cuddled into sanemi.

"Nemi, I wanna watch demon slayer. Tanjirou said there's a new session. Its Called the entertainment district I think."

"Ah yea I heard about it"

Sanemi and giyuu enjoyed their teatime snack as they watched the anime. They stayed silent, completely emersed in the anime. Soft giggles could be heard from the couple as they watched the anime. All of a sudden, giyuu tilted his head up and kissed his lover on the cheek.

"I love you nemi, the ohagis you make are delicious"

"Welcome birdbrain. You wanna name today's anniversary ohagis?"

"Pft, what kind of name is that?"

"Oh shut up" sanemi scoffed and rolled his eyes 

"I'm joking dumbass. Yea sure we can name today ohagis"

The next morning, sanemi saw giyuu marked 'ohagis :D' on their anniversary day on the calendar hanging on the fridge. Sanemi smiled and sipped his morning coffee, enjoying the morning breeze as he took a bite out of an ohagi they made yesterday.
