3rd person's pov:

"Brotherrrrr come on!!! Why don't you come with me to the festivalllllll" genya whined.

"Shut up. I have to go to work on that day"

"But you don't"

"Yes I do bitch"

"No you don't. I checked with gyomei. He said you don't have work on that day"

"You little.."

"Come on! Its just one day!"

"No"

"Fine, you grumpy old man. Stay home all you want. I'm going regardless" genya grumbled. Stomping off to his room.

Sanemi sighed. He rubbed his temples before yelling,

"Fine! I'll go with you. Stop whining now bitch"

Loud footsteps could be heard throughout the entire house as genya ran to the living room.

"Wait really?!!" He exclaimed. He barely managed to skid to a stop before slamming into the wall.

"Yes"

"Then let's go change now!"

"Sure whatever.." the elder brother mumbled a reply. He gave a small smile as he watched his excited younger brother run back to his room. Even though genya was 16, he still acts like a 12 year old kid. Sanemi rolled his eyes and got up. He hates going to noisy places and he hates festivals the most. But hey, he might be able to have a good time there right?

...

To sanemi's dismay, the entire festival was boring. Well majority of the festival was boring. The food stalls didnt sell anything that sanemi likea and the games were boring to sanemi. He much rather prefered staying at home, watching TV or make ohagis than go to festivals. But somehow, his little brother managed to drag the hot tempered boy to the festival. Furthermore, his brother has invited his friends, tanjirou, zenitsu and inosuke, muichirou and nezuko. It was a wonder why muichirou tagged along but sanemi figured it was probably genya who dragged him out to the festival as well. Sanemi was now stuck with a loud kids, Inosuke running around and making a mess while zenitsu, nezuko and  tanjirou were trying to stop him. Genya and muichirou spotted sanemi's colleagues and invited them over to the group.

"Yo sanemi!" Tengen shouted, smacking sanemi's back.

"Why are you here?" Sanemi gritted his teeth, holding back his desire to punch his flamboyant colleague.

"We wanted to see the festival" kanroji answered, dragging her boyfriend's hand.

"They dragged me here" iguro stated and rengukou smacked his head.

"Come on now! It isn't good to stay at home all day long!" The firey dude boomed.

"Gyomei, shinobu and kanao are also here" tengen added, pointing to a huge guy who was talking to some younger kids. Shinobu and kanao were buying some taiyaki from a nearby stall.

"Great.. just my luck.." sanemi grumbled. He didn't want to see or talk to anyone but he ended up meeting the people he knew at the festival.

The group moved together, they would buy food which rengoku recommended and held mini competitions among them when they played the games in the stalls. It was quite fun, it wasn't as boring as sanemi had expected to be but he still preferred to stay at home. It was quite late and sanemi was ready to go home. He didn't want to be at the festival any longer but his friends kept insisting he stay till the end of the festival since he was already there. There would also be a dance performance soon so it would be worth sticking around for it. Sanemi sighed, rubbing his nose bridge, reluctantly agreeing to stay

It was 9.15pm and the dance performances were starting. The crowd gathered at the stage that was at the heart of the festival and waited patiently for the performance to start. Traditional music started playing, indicating the start of the performance. The dances weren't interesting to sanemi, he didn't find any of the dances eye catching. They all looked the same, boring movements accompanied by boring music. Sanemi couldn't wait for the performance to finish. He wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. He stared at the stage, deflated.

"Up next, we have a sword performance by giyuu tomioka!" The host announced.

A tall and lean guy walked onto the stage. His footsteps were light, his hair was long and silky, the colour of his hair was similar to charcoal. His eyes held a serin blue, like the ocean. He wore a mismatch haori and pulled out a sword that hung on his waist. He started his performance. Every swing of his sword was elegant, his movements were light and precise, clearly showing the amount of hard work put into the practice to make those movemens flawless. He looked like he was dancing rather than swinging a sword. He had a poker face but his eyes spoke thousands of emotions. His haori fluttered lightly in the air and his movements were as smooth as water. The brunette looked more like a spirit than a human being, he was mesmerising. Sanemi's was captivated by him, his eyes were glued to every movement. Sanemi's mouth was agape, he felt himself fall in love with the man infront of him. His mind was only focused on the man, even when the performance came to an end, he could only think of giyuu tomioka. His every movement was etched in his mind, he was unforgettable.

When the festival ended, sanemi felt a little disappointed, he hoped to see the man once again. He wanted to see his eyes again, he wanted to rewatch his sword performance again. He wanted to know the man, he wanted to see him laugh, see his smile, see him in his arms. He was head over heels for the brunette.

It was disappointing he couldn't see the man again, but who knows? They could be connected by fate.
