3rd person pov:

The ravenette gulped, staring nervously at the haunting building that towered over him. He could feel a prickly feeling tickling his skin and his heart hammered against his chest, beads of cold sweat tickling down his nape as he questioned his life decisions in a matter of seconds.

"Do..do we really need to go in..?" He mumbled, glancing at his lover who had a stoic face on.

"Yeah, shinobu gave us some free tickets to this thing and it's only here for a limited time" the latter replied back.

"I know..but, it looks scarry"

"I'm here" his lover reassured, giving the ravenette's hand a comforting squeeze before dragging him into the building. They handed their tickets to a clerk behind a black-and-white marbled counter, whom had on a mysterious grin plastered on his face as he bid the couple good luck on their interesting adventure. The duo made a sharp turn to the right and came face to face with a black, metal door that was slightly ajar. It loomed over them, swinging ever so slightly in the chilly breeze that it seemed like it was daring the couple to open the gates and enter the chamber.

"Nemi, I think this is a bad idea" the ravenette murmured, looking at his lover with a frown as his sapphire eyes depicted nervousness and dread.

"It-" sanemi paused, clearing his throat to get rip of the awkward voice crack before continuing, "its fine, yuu. It can't be that bad.. hopefully"

At least giyuu wasn't the only one that was scared - and it was reassuring yet terrifying at the same time. To think that his lover, shinazugawa sanemi, the hotheaded bastard that always rude and fearless would actually be scared of what horrors that were hidden behind a metal door.

"Shall we go in?" Sanemi asked and giyuu replied with a hesitant nod. They both walked towards the entrance, the scarred male holding onto the door knob tightly before pulling open the metal plate. Darkness greeted them, followed by a errie woosh of the cold wind that blew in their faces.

Let the fun begin.

"Holy fucking shit!" A raspy voice yelled, grabbing the ravenette's hand and bolting down the corridor whilst hearing the horrid laugh of an evil clown following behind them. The shorter male was screaming for help, shouting prayers for their soul as the thumped their way down the dim hallways. They turned a corner and a mumified girl peaked around the corner, bearing a petrifying grin that matched welled with her black eyes. She held up her arm, groaning wickedly before joining in on the pursue with the clown. The couple bolted - well, after sanemi threw an instinctive punch at the poor female worker - and yelled for help whilst holding onto each other's hands. They ran through the maze like corridors, turning and weaving between the narrow corridors to find an escape to the terrifying madness that followed behind them. They soon came across a door and sanemi slammed it open without hesitation, pushing giyuu inside the supposedly empty room before slamming the door shut again.

The couple turned around and was met with the dumbfounded expression of monsters that sat in a circle. The 'creatures' looked like they were in a cult - especially with the dim lighting and the candles circling them, followed by the fact that they held their hands together and looked like they were plotting something evil - and they were drawing some things on a small whiteboard in the centre of the circle.

The gang and the duo stared at each other for a couple of seconds, untill reality hit them like a truck -

1. Giyuu and sanemi had accidentally entered the creatures' liar.

2. The gang were plotting on ways to capture the couple, since they had free time and it was funny to tease them and they were coincidentally the only two people who were inside the haunted house.

"Fuck!" Giyuu screamed and that sent it. A couple members from the group stood up, making sanemi shout curses in another language before dragging giyuu out of the door. They bolted down the corridor and made a sharp turn to the right, once again coming across the previous monsters which were chasing them a while ago. Sanemi sucker punched one of the monsters and ran through the small crowd, dragging his lover along as they ran for their souls.

Talk about being demon slayers in their past lives.

There was loud stomping behind a wooden door and the plank was slammed open. Two males stumbled into the room, falling to the ground as they gasped and wheezed for the much needed air. Cold sweat drenched their backs and their necks tingled with a sharp sensation from the post aderaline rush they experienced in the past hour.

"Fuck, that was scary" sanemi rasped, followed by a short and terrified laugh from the ravenette. The wooden door was slammed shut by a random cold wind and the couple flinched, sitting upright before slumping down and sprawling on the cement floor as they took their time to calm themselves down.

"The floor's dirty" giyuu commented.

" 'ts okay, we still need to shower either way"

The ravenette giggled and sanemi smiled softly, reaching out a hand to wipe away a bead of sweat that drippled down giyuu's forehead.

"Fuck, never again am I going in there" the scarred male grunted, sitting upright and groaning as he massaged his tired legs.

"Same, and fuck shinobu. She clearly knows about this horror house, that's why she gave it to us"

"Yeah, fuck her man and uzui too. That sparkly giraffe said it ain't that scary"

Giyuu laughed, sitting up and resting his head on the latter's shoulder. He heaved a sigh of relief and snuggled into the crook of sanemi's neck, breathing in the windy scent which captivated him with a sense of tranquility.

"I'm tried"

"Me too. You wanna eat dinner?"

"Salmon and daikon?" Giyuu asked hopefully and sanemi chuckled, playfully pinching the latters cheek before standing up. He held up his hand and the ravenette smiled, grabbing his lover's hand and helped himself up, holding onto the additional support to help his legs carry his bodyweight.

"Yeah, we can eat that"

"Alright" giyuu replied, holding onto sanemi's warm hand as they exited the haunted house. The couple laughed and giggled, recounting their adventure which made them question their life in a matter of minutes whilst they ran mindlessly in the corridors of the haunted house. However, they were both lucky for they had each other to rely on and scream with in times of fear. Fright was a scarry thing, but their love was scarrier as it was impossible to be dispelled by fairytales of ghouls and demons which once roamed the earth.

Maybe having a partner isn't so bad, afterall - one can scream with their significant other in times of fright.
