3rd person pov:

"Is..is.. this really okay..?" The ravenette asked, uncertainty filled his ocean blue eyes.

"Its okay yuu" the latter assured, kissing the brunette's forehead.

"Thank you so much" giyuu whispered, his eyes watered and he smiled. The latter wiped away Giyuu's wet eyes. The couple were currently in a restaurant celebrating giyuu's birthday. Sanemi wanted to make this day special for his lover, so he decided to bring the ravenette on day-long date. They went to the aquarium in the morning, then proceeded to watch a movie and have lunch. They went window shopping for a while before going to a designer clothes store to buy suitable outfits to wear to a famous restaurant. They ordered a 5-course meal, starting with hors d'oeuvre, then appetizer, afterwards salad, followed by entrees and before ending off with a desert.

"Isn't this too expensive..?"

"Its fine babe, its your birthday"

"It doesn't need to be this fancy..I don't deserve this much.."

"That's right, you don't deserve this" sanemi spoke monotonously, staring out the window. The ravenette bit his lips in nervousness.

"You don't deserve this much, you deserve more" sanemi spoke lovingly. He looked at giyuu and smiled, a warm and affection smile that made giyuu's heart skip a beat.

"Come on, let's dine in before the food gets cold"

The brunette nodded. They both said their greetings and started eating their food. Giyuu took a bite out of his crab toast, the savoury flavour of the sauce mixed well with the tender meat of the crab and the toast provided a crunchy texture to the dish. Sanemi took a bite of his Broiled Oysters with Parmigiano and 'Nduja. The garlic butter brought richness to the sweet liquor of the oysters. The spicy sausages brought a kick of heat into the dish, complimenting the main star of the dish well.

"This is nice" giyuu commented.

"Yea it is, Wanna try mine?" Sanemi asked, holding up an oyster. The brunette took a bite out of the oyster's succulent flesh and his eyes widened at the perfect combination of flavours.

"That is delicious"

"Yea it is, wanna have it?"

"I don't like spice"

"Tch, pussy"

"I'm not hot headed like you" giyuu snarled. They both placed their utensils down and stared at each other, 'hatred' filled their eyes as they observed each other. After a minute or so of staring, their lips were tremendous and they burst into laughter. Giyuu was wipping his tears in his eyes from laughing and sanemi was grinning from ear to ear. They continued their dinner, eating and talking together as they proceeded through each course, laughter could be heard from their table and their smiles were brighter than the moon which illuminated the city.

"Thank you so much nemi" giyuu spoke softly, he leaned his head on his lover's shoulder.

"You're welcome birdbrain"

Giyuu giggled and stared at the city. Bright dots of light shined from sky scrappers.

"Do I need to repay you?"

"No"

"But you spent a lot today.."

"You dumbass, its your birthday"

"I know but I don't deserve such an extravagant celebration.." the ravenette mutterer, looking at the floor. He wasn't used to celebrating his birthday, he wasn't used to someone treating him so lovingly, he wasn't used to being spoiled. His family had died in a car accident and his best friend had died in a plane crash. He was left alone at a young age and had lived frugally ever since, only spending money on what was needed. He never treated himself, he never took care of himself, he put others before him, he loved others more than he loved himself. He felt like he wasn't worthy of such love and that he was destined to be sad forever.

Sanemi paused and cupped giyuu's cheeks, wipping the latter's teary eyes.

"Don't say that"

"But it's true.."

"No, its not. You deserve this, you deserve more than this, you deserve everything yuu"

"But.."

"Shut it, don't you dare say you dont deserve it. If you say it once more, I will throw you in the river behind us" sanemi spoke with a look in his eyes telling giyuu he was serious.

The brunette kept quiet, he looked away. Doubt lingered in his eyes and he bit his lips. Sanemi tilted giyuu's head to face him and he leaned down, pressing his lips against the latter. Giyuu kissed back, enjoying the addicting warmth on his lips. Sanemi pulled away and stared at giyuu, their face a few centimetres apart.

"Baby, you deserve so much more than you think, you deserve to be loved yuu, I wanted to give you more but there's only 24 hours in a day. You are worthy of everything yuu, you made my life bright, you made my life shine, you made my life happier and colourful. I love you yuu, you deserve every good thing that happens to you. Don't doubt yourself, don't degrade yourself, don't hurt yourself, don't pull yourself down"

Giyuu's eyes teared up once more at sanemi's words. The latter wiped giyuu's tears away and touched their foreheads together.

"Nemi"

"Hm?"

"Thank you so much, I'm so happy to have you"

"I love you a lot yuu, you really deserve every good things that happens to you"

"Okay"

Sanemi tilted giyuu's head and connected their lips. Warmth tingled down their spine and the feeling of love bloomed between thier lips. Snow rained down from the sky, decorating their hair with with spots of white fluff. The snow covered the walkways and a chilly air hung over the city. They both pulled away and sanemi touches their noses together. He wrappe his arms around giyuu's slender waist and pulled him in a hug. He rubbed circles on the latter's back and whispered the words in a sweet and affectionate voice,

"You deserve everything"
