3rd person pov:

The ravenette held his head in his hands, internally crying as the sounds of children screaming joyfully added to his suffering. He looked up, using his hand to prop his chin as he stared at the kids with bored eyes.

"Hah! Loser! I'm taller than you!" A white haired male shouted, proudly boasting his height to a heterochromatic male who was seething with rage at the teasing.

"Nobu! Nobu! Can we eat sakura mochi?" A female squealed, tugging at the sleves of a much older and taller girl that was petting the younger happily. Two enthusiastic kids were yelling stories to each other whilst laughing at their inside joked and a much more quieter kid sat beside the ravenette.

The water hashira felt his soul leaving his body. He didn't like kids - infact he hated them and to take care of 7 of them was his worst nightmare.

How did the ravenette come to this? He couldn't have birthed these children so what happened?

The adult stared at his disheveled self in the mirror, eyebags darker than his eyes and hair almost as messy as his house. It had been 3 days since the master had dumped all these children onto the ravenette whilst the stone hashira was on the hunt for the demon which had turned his colleagues into cute, innocent and bubbly children.

"Why, master..why" the ravenette cried, scowling as he tried to control the anger inside him as a scarred boy playful broke his glass window with a ball. He felt a tug on his right sleeve and he looked down, heart melting as he saw the adorable kid face of the youngest hashira.

"Mika.. sleepy.." the kid mumbled out, rubbing his eyes and yawning groggily. The ravenette chuckled as he picked up tokito in his arms.

"Yes, yes, you should sleep" giyuu hummed, lightly patting the kid's back as he made his way to the children's room.

"Mmm.." tokito mummered, burrying his face into giyuu's shoulder before falling asleep falling asleep in his arms.

"At least you're not a trouble maker like them" the ravenette smiled, humming a lullaby as he put the kid to sleep.

Kids really were angels.

...

He hates kids, they were like the devil's spawns.

The ravenette sunk to the floor, hands holding onto the dinning table like a life support as he internally screamed at the mess the kids had made. He was dressed in an apron, hair tied up and clothes full of wet stains from the miso soup which the children had spilled on him. He stood up and was pelted in the face by plate of Japanese curry.

The glassware cluttered to the floor, followed by the sounds of stunned silence. Rice and curry dripped from his face, the viscous mixture plopping to the floor as the ravenette felt his last string of patience snapping.

"Dude! That was so flashy!" A younger tengen shouted, followed by a howl of laughter from obanai and shinazugawa.

"See? I know my aim and timing is good!"

"It was so flamboyant!"

"It- it was!" the heterochromatic kid mused, clutching his stomach as his small body rippled with laughterer.
