Princess Mina.

Finally I was able to complete the process. The cure was done. After 3 years of acquiring the herb I was able to grow some of it and study it. I started to give my father small doses of it every other day and observe. He seemed to feel better so I gave him a shot every day.

After a few days He was able breathe without the need of the oxygen mask. He told me it was the first time that he felt stronger after 3 years. He was able to stand and later walk with supervision. He even requested to eat breakfast by the garden with us.

The coughing was still apparent but other than that he seem to be feeling better now.

I was so happy that I cried. It's our first garden breakfast after 3 years. It was like I was able to breathe again.

I remember the first time he fainted. The doctors told me what it was after running a few test. I was so scared to lose him.

~~~Flashback~~~

The thing I dreaded to hear is happening again. My father acquired a rare disease and hearing my fellow the doctors say that there's no cure makes me so mad. I appealed to the doctors about the rare herb that I talked about that I want to study. It might be a cure to my father's illness.

The doctors strongly opposed of it for it's effect are still unknown and beside the fact that it's also hard to find.

I told my father about it and he forbid me to go and look for it. I know he's just thinking about my safety.

I was determined to look for it that I had to ask Rowan to gather 5 to 6 men and get me an unmarked ship. I thanked the Lord for Rowan, who always supports me and believes in me. Only he, my sister Sana and the crew knows about my plan.

The night came of our departure I was able to slip past the night guards with Rowan's supervision. I met him by the dock.

"Let me come with you, my love. I cannot bear to part with you knowing there might be danger you might face."

"You know you can't. The kingdom needs you more and I need you here for my father and sister."

He took hold of my hand and said:
"Promise me you'll come back to me, to us."

"I will. And I will find that herb."

He then pulled me to him and hugged me tight.

"May the Lord guide you on your journey. Remember what I taught you." Rowan looking more worriedly serious.

"Yes father." I smiled as I tease him. He then kissed me.

"There's something I need to tell you when you come back. I love you Mina."

I smiled and hugged him then ran towards the ship.

As the ship sailed away from the dock, Rowan was still there waving and clearly crying too.

Most of the time I feel I don't deserve him. He loves me so much more than I love him. I do love him, but not as I thought I should. Not like how a woman should love her man. He always says he loves me but I couldn't say it back. I felt my tear falls on my cheeks as I ache for him for I can't love him the way he deserves.

I then wiped my tears and set my mind straight. I went inside the bridge and talked to the captain which turned out to be Rowan's uncle.

"Uncle Jinho?"

He faced me and smiled.

"My Godess Mina"

It's akward whenever he calls me that.
